The Italian business man said "I've never seen Cagliari play in this way, they too can lose a game, but they always fight and give everything", "They took to the field without pride and should be ashamed." "They looked like chickens and can, and should, do much better." Personally, I feel the players got off lightly. They AGAIN, conceded in the dying minutes of the first half. If they know they are vulnerable, they need to work harder in closing the opposition down, and learn by their mistakes. At the end of the day they are professional football players. If I or you were not performing in our jobs, what would happen? We'd lose our jobs! True? McDermott said after the match that the players were nervous!!! I can probably understand Kebe, and maybe Stewart being nervous, especially as Kebe was jeered off the pitch by 28,000 fans. That's going to do his confidence no good at all. Why should the other players be nervous. McDermott has bought in some experienced players in Hunt, Kebe, Stewart and has spent a million a piece on Wootton and Murphy. Only Murphy has a regular starting place, and he has hardly set the world alight, has he? Was it right for the Leeds fans to :- a) Leave early b) Jeer Kebe c) Boo the team off on the final whistle

After loosin 5 - 1 to Bolton (and its not the first time we've been humiliated since New Year) the fans were right to do all three. The players were nervous. Was their debuts? Morning all. A b and c justifiable. Nervous excuse a joke surely. Cellino also said he will walk if not given approval but will not charge interest on his loans. I suspect, like us, he realises he'll never see a penny of that money paid back unless takeover goes through. Isn't it great to know Haigh is now looking after all our interests and working full time at the club

Morning. In the season we got promoted to the old first division in the 88/89 season (I think) we had players like Vinney Jones, Batty, Noel Blake, Vince Hilaire, Chris Kamara. All hard nuts!!!
Morning all ... fans were absolutely right to have their say, and the players need to start learning ... that send off at Rochdale was very embarrassing, and I hadn't heard the like from Leeds fans before ... Leeds has the best support, loyal and understanding, but now this is taking the piss ... I know exactly what McD is is saying about "nervous" ... he has clearly identified players who simply don't have the ability to play for a club like Leeds ... it happens, look at Fellaini struggling to cope with the expectation at Scum, because at Everton they weren't expected to win anything, just try and get around the top ten ... the vast majority of our squad have never been near a club the size of Leeds before, the one club outside the Prem who people always consider as being in the wrong division, the one club where every season promotion is expected and every team wants to beat you ... we need at least six good players, and it sounds like Cellino and McD have had this discussion ... at least Cellino understands when players are hiding, and he let them know ... there will be at least half the squad rocking up at TA today knowing they won't be at Leeds next season, and the other half knowing they have a 50/50 chance of staying if they work hard for the rest of the season ... no more of these "disappearing" days where the team doesn't show up, these players need to show some professional pride and earn their money ... Cellino isn't a mug, and he has identified the problem, as we've known for a while, our squad simply isn't good enough to win this division, because if you want promotion your team has to be good enough to win the league and then you at least have a chance of the playoffs Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
I hope DH doesn't take a wrong turning on his way to work and end up at Man Utd, it's very easy to get the cities mixed up Fans booing - I wouldn't but yes they have the right. As for nervous, that just says we have the wrong players. I can understand some people would be overawed by the ER crowd, but no true Leeds player would be Afraid BM is starting to say daft things, suspect it's only a matter of time now before he is put out of his misery. "Do it for the badge/shirt and fans or GO"....he has been known to isolate players in Italy if they do not show commitment to the cause either on the pitch or publicly mentioning your desire to leave etc etc. Once the players understand that in no uncertain terms, then hand over to Brian and coaching team and see what he gets out of these over paid bloody Nancy`s...!....Whilst all the fans and indeed others associated with the Club, held a glimmer of hope for the play offs (judging by the weekends results of teams around us this is still possible) the players on Saturday played as if the season was over with nothing to play for....NOT GOOD ENOUGH, they still have to represent the club, City/Community and of course fans.....oh by the way you are still be paid a kings ransom....each week !! And Massimo is putting his hand in pocket currently to make sure wages are paid !..So he is totally vindicated in his outburst even though he is not the official owner !!...I actually think in this purchase of "This Ferrari" he has in a short time become a fan of #LUFC even with all the turmoil that prevails, so he only echoed what ALL THE FANS FELT ON SATURDAY, and if we are honest have felt for a VERY LONG TIME ! Good on ya Celliono ..it needed saying ! I also feel that the club has a disease within, ...as a club we have had years of concentrating on all the PR , surrounding , the profile of the Directors, Management and some high profile staff/players.....this is now biting our backsides ....the effort should ALWAYS be on the other PR .....POINTS & RESULTS.....To quote a legend at Elland Road that actually achieved Gordon Strachan ..." FORTUNE FAVOURS THE BRAVE"....and boy did he demonstrate that week in week out ...and his players around him performed as if their lives depended on it......Lets get that philosophy back and maybe just maybe we will start to see an upturn in our performances !!! Lets start Tuesday....Marching On Together !!!!
Morning all. Yes, no, & yes. No point in picking on Kebe. Will do his confidence no good at all. So Reading tomorrow. Fully expect to see Kebe on the bench unless he can somehow convince BMD that he will step up to the plate. Can't see it somehow. But all he needs is either a goal or a cross for anyone to knock in & they make a point of recognising Kebe for his efforts for that goal. Think autos are now finally off the radar. Worryingly, even top 6 is now going to be a bit of a stretch. I hope BMD gets his two years because I think he will turn us around. I would like to see Dawson and Aniyibi given a chance this season just in preparation for next season. May solve the question of loan for more game time or bench as they're already ready for the first team.

Morning all I think fans do have the right to boo the team off at the end, it's not nice to hear but how else are their frustrations supposed to be aired? I do think the reaction to Kebe going off was harsh though, but I can't see BMD starting him tomorrow night, he's a fool if he does. Just getting to work on the match thread, then I guess I should do some proper work
