The defeat was not Catts fault, the team played poorly, name your man of the match, go on, it wouldnt be easy.

Two goals were his fault, what else does he need to ? And a pointless booking again, crap distribution etc etc .

i fail to see what that has to do with marcus like

i've edited your title to encourage debate

in answer to your question, yes, we were done by referee manipulation and the ref should hang his head, catts did nothing to get booked.

he was always on the back foot from that point.

gus should have taken him off at half time as he was half the player we know he is

I'm not cattermoles biggest fan but he was our best player in the first half by a long way.

Poyet is to blame because when Cattermole gets book then his game goes to pot.

Absolute garbage, he has been an EPL footballer for 10 years at least. He could have headed the ball into touch easily before the second goal, the third was sheer carelessness, Huddlestone was not affected by his yellow card. They were sheer mistakes not brought by referee manipulation.

On the subject of ref, what about Hull's second penalty for O'Shea"s wrestle of one of their players?

His distribution was the best of our players, his reading of the game was the best of our players, his positioning was the best of our players.
His booking was a pile of **** as the Hull players were refereeing the game.

He will be honest enough to hold his hands up for his actual mistake as there's no excuse for it.

Given by ref - so a yellow. Both his and Huddlestone's were similar and got the same treatment so no argument there.

You need 4 or 5 winning performances in 12 games. For that you need players who can boss games even if they are inconsistent. For every game you point at to say Catts is a liability there are at least as many where he has dominated the game.

Plus if you cut him out of the loop now then, tied with players who are out of contract in the summer, I think you could be shafted for next season whether you stay up or not.

Mate, the game was lost on 3 individual errors by our captain and vice-captain It's their job to take the flack for this one. Neither team were scoring without those errors today.

Both teams were poor like you say if not for those errors we would be still playing now with no goals.

Passing the ball into the box to a forward who will net it would be a start.
It's all well and good all the passy passy football in the middle of the park.
But it's all for nought if we can't get the ball into the penalty area in good time.
