Cousins out on the right again, and turns in a poor performance again. Why does Powell persist with this nonsense? I was' nt going to post again but I'm that angry!! Motivation and players out of position. Apart from CP, I'm scratching my head about who else to blame. Nigel Clough seemed to manage it okay.
Powell takes full blame today he was clueless with the subs, cousins on rm is about as good aspritchard. Tudgay and Church were ok, but never ever going to score. Harriott"s miss was shocking and then when 2 down, to take off wilson, one of the few who played okay today was ajoke, takes off Poyet, who again controlled midfield, what does that send the players? Oh 2 down with 25 mins to go but we can't come back let's take off key players? Yes no passion from the players but Powell taking off key players at 2 down is hardly showing belief someone can come out of it. So angry today
Awful performance, the players were clueless, as it seems was the Manager. Took Church off, not because of Vols mark on another thread but because he was saving him for Wednesday. Two goals down (2nd just bad luck) & Powell writes the day off, takes our one class player off along with Wilson, who I thought was one of our better players, for what thats worth. & in effect says "lets go home" Some may be happy on concentrating on the league, for me we should fight for 90 minutes. I don't think we fought for 9. Afraid I have to say Sorry CP your time is up.
