Just looked at the Spuds board and the blubfest is well under way with everyone in denial;good result today besides Steve Sherbet's side were due a drubbing at the Bridge.
****ing funny coming from a Utd fan. P.S. Those useless ****s Spurs should be investigated for match fixing the amount of goals they gifted you today.
Spud's came apart like a cigarette in a thunderstorm. Had the linseman not made a bad judgement it would have been worse. Llorris would have been sent off and a penalty given for the challenge on Eto'o and I do not know how Sandro stayed on the pitch, he made countless fouls after his first booking methinks the ref bottled it, but apart from the Spuds basically handing that game to us on a plate, the only highlight was Eto'o's celebration, classic humour, and I think Jose liked it. Oh and the clean sheet, and the +4 goal difference, have I missed something.
You would expect them to feel aggrieved with what was at best a soft penalty. At 1-0 down they could still get back into the game. At 2-0 down and with 10 men it's a whole different matter. What I will say though is that when attackers do to defenders what Kaboul done to Eto'o (slight push in the back) it is quite often given as a free-kick to the defending side and nothing is said about it. On top of that if we're to take everything into account, in the opening minute Eto'o was wrongly adjuged as being offside when he was through on goal and was taken out by Lloris who would have been off with us having a free-kick near the edge of their penalty box.
Now watching the highlights, it does look like entire season's gag reel. funny spuds.. hope they give up Europa spot to Moanu!!
Did you see the fire drill on 80 mins. Anyone got any pics. also need scoreboard pic to send to lovely Sours pal
I thought the red was harsh but like many said, if the linesman had done his job Lloris would have been off and how the ref did not even blow up for the foul by Sandro on Oscar when he was nutmegged I have no idea. 4 goals 3 points 1 win . That's all we ever ask Have to beat Villa next week, hope Hull can nullify City too, coming back from Barcelona to an early kick off might help us, plus Hull are on a high after today.
