West BromvMan Utd 12:45 Cardiff v Fulham15:00 Crystal Palace v Southampton15:00 Norwich v Stoke 15:00 Chelsea v Tottenham 17:30 Man U to win, fingers crossed. Cardiff n Fulham to draw. Palace to lose. Norwich n Stoke to draw. Is the perfect scenario.
Done the Corals 15 for a £1 as it is a roll over after last week. Got Man Utd and Southampton and Stoke to win away and Cardiff v. Fulham should be a draw for starters. Will either side want to cross the half-way line in that game ?
Fulham's run in. March 8 Cardiff City (A) March 15 Newcastle United (H) March 22 Manchester City (A) March 30 Everton (H) April 5 Aston Villa (A) April 12 Norwich City (H) April 19 Tottenham (A) April 26 Hull City (H) May 3 Stoke City (A) May 11 Crystal Palace (H) I cant see them getting to 30 points. Cardiff's run in. March 8 Fulham (H) March 15 Everton (A) March 22 Liverpool (H) March 29 West Bromwich (A) April 5 Crystal Palace (H) April 12 Southampton (A) April 19 Stoke City (H) April 27 Sunderland (A) May 3 Newcastle United (A) May 11 Chelsea (H) Cant see them getting to 30 either.
I think the key game for us is West Brom/Man U. Anything but a home win will do. We don't want WBA coming here on the 22nd being able to catch us with a win..... Think I'd prefer a Stoke win as well. They're not going down.
I think Fulham & Cardiff are both gone. We just need to stick the boot into Fulham when we go down there. Hopefully we're on the beach by then & not still after those 2 wins that everyone's on about.
Quite a common view at the moment pal, and you can't blame anyone for going with that, especially after the 0-4 result between us at the CCS. Still think there's more than a slim chance for us to scramble clear after our game at Spurs last week - we were very unlucky not get a point. Of course if we fail to take all 3 points tomorrow at home to Fulham, then I'll probably come around to your way of thinking. Also don't agree with the previous poster about Stoke "not going down". They are very flaky away from the Brittania and they still have to visit fellow strugglers starting at Norwich tomorrow. Then the also have to come to us and Brom - all those games could be drop deciders come May. Would like to sort it before our last game though - don't want to have to beat Chelsea to stay up..........
Obvious: Spurs win. We need them still interested and fighting for top 4 so that they go to Fulham in business rather than beach mode.
About as good as we could have hoped for in the PL me thinks. Shame that Cardiff had to spoil it by winning when a draw was better for us. In saying that Cardiff have Everton away and then Liverpool at home....oh dear. Next week looks another dire day for most of the bottom 11 clubs.
saturday 15th after our early ko game Everton v. Cardiff Fulham v. Newcastle Southampton v. Norwich Stoke v. West Ham Sunderland v. Crystal Palace Swansea v. West Brom Aston Villa v. Chelsea (ko 5.30pm) Looking at the above - A draw for Hull City against Man City would be more than useful. I expect Fulham, Cardiff, Norwich and West Brom to get beat.
Even if we lose this lunchtime not much damage will be done overall. Next week is the much bigger game. Looking at the other bottom half fixtures it should get worse for 4 teams at least ?
Cardiff City v. Liverpool Everton v. Swansea City Hull City v. West Brom Manchester City v. Fulham Newcastle Utd v. Crystal Palace Norwich v. Sunderland West Ham v. Manchester Utd No prizies for the big game this weekend. Looking at the rest a win for Hull City should well ease any pressure some are feeling. I expect most of the bottom clubs to get beat this weekend.
I can see Liverpool winning at Cardiff, Everton beating Swansea, City beating the Baggies, Fulham losing at Man City, Palarce might get a draw at Newcastle, Sunderland might just beat Norwich, and Man U will win at the Hammers.
Don't care about the rest, but we must win; none of this Swanny **** about he'll take a point. We must go for a win.
