I actually think you have a decent team, like many teams in the bottom half and the so called bigger teams in the bottom half the small teams don't get the decisions.
Obviously I only see what gets shown on tv but you along with us have some shocking decisions, then when we manage to get a favourable one there's uproar.

Anyway hoping you loose today obviously but taking that aside I hope you stay up along with us as you have some decent players, gutted you got Redmond and we didn't as he always seems a busy player that can create.

    Good luck after today

    <laugh> They rarely are <ok>

The last time I saw an entertaining game between our clubs was the season we won 5-1 on the opening day of the season, way back in 1980!

Good post ThaiCanary. Now all we need is a good game and 3 points.

Yeah, I don't bother posting much during the week anymore either. I'll just be pleased to see the end of the season and wait for what the summer has to throw our way.

Yes, it's felt like a long, hard season. I'm just sick of the anti-football and I want a team that tries to win, not draw 38 games 0-0.

Right now I'll be happy if we can stay in the league and then I might have renewed optimism for next season.

Who wouldn't settle for 16th place right now?

Spot on for me, except I'd take 17th and staying up on goal difference with the lowest points tally ever. Anything.

Maybe too early to say this, but looking good for us at the Hawthorns.

okay - I am a bit surprised by this, but perhaps should not be. I really do not like the look of our bench though, why 3 forwards? or is this just a case of making up the numbers with senior/experienced players? For example, Yobo or Bassong get nobbled, we can move Martin to CB, and put Whittaker on the right, but that leaves no further options, and the scenario is worse if Olsson takes a whack.

I'd back Johnson to do a job at left back

Yeah, unless there's yet more injuries we're unaware of, I'm surprised Whittaker is our only defensive substitute. Whilst he has played in both FB positions, and Martin can be moved to CB, it doesn't give us a lot of room to manoeuvre. And it's not like both Becchio and Elmander are going to get used.

Would liked to have seen Howson play but at home this set up has been pretty effective recently, Wes behind the wolf could be good to see.
