Season card prices reduced for 2014-15
    Published: 28 February, 2014
    by Sunderland AFC
    Significant price reductions announced.
Every Sunderland AFC season card holder will pay less for their seat at the Stadium of Light next season, after the club announced significant price reductions today for 2014-15.
Adult seats will be available from only £370 and supporters over 65 will pay just £270. Young people under 22 years of age can take advantage of a price reduction of £90 on their season cards, which will now be priced at £190 and junior supporters aged under 16 will pay just £69 for a whole season.
Sunderland AFC continues its commitment to affordable football with special packages in the stadium’s popular ‘Family Zone’ priced at only £395 for an adult and a junior. Additional children aged under 16 can also be added to this package in the Family Zone for £25 each.
The club will also continue to offer an interest-free payment option for its supporters, allowing them to spread the cost of their season card over eight months, free of charge.
The deadline to sign up and take advantage of the price reductions is Friday 11th April, 2014.
As well as reduced prices, the club will continue to give its season card holders access to SAFC Rewards, an exclusive scheme affording a wide range of discounts and special offers.
Speaking about the decision to reduce prices, the club’s chief executive, Margaret Byrne, said: “Our fans have been amazing throughout the season, both home and away and it is incredibly humbling to see such fantastic levels of support. They show unbelievable commitment to the club and we want to demonstrate to them just how valued and important their backing is.
“Keeping football at the Stadium of Light affordable is something that we are fully committed to. By reducing prices for next season we hope that our existing season card holders will be able to continue to support the team in such huge numbers. We also hope to encourage more fans to join us for the 2014-15 season."
2014-15 SEASON CARD PRICES AND SAVINGS, VALID UNTIL 5PM, FRIDAY 11 APRIL, 2014.

Further details will be announced early next week.

Hmmm yes this is good for existing season ticket holders who will be renewing no matter what.

    But....

Is this contingency planning for potential relegation?

    The rewards are crap aswell.

We're struggling to fill the ground, the club are dropping the price and still people see negative? Been an expensive season for non away gamers this season. I reckon they're ssimply trying to attract more people. I want to take my boy next season so it means it's 439 For both.of us. That's 39 more than this season. All good in my book

Monty, is that central area or the wings. Currently in the North stand but its crap since they put the away fans above us. Sat in he premier concourse,
almost central location, for the Southampton cup game (Row10) and was well impressed with the view.

I don't think many people will take the offer up because we don't know what league we will be in. I will leave it till the start of April & see how sunderland are doing then.
