The Match of the Day pundits have already labelled this one a "14 pointer" for the bottom two clubs. Whoever loses this one is sure to be relegated at the end of the season and if the result is a draw - then it doesn't really help either of the clubs. Despite playing well against Spurs last Saturday City still managed to lose and continue their lovely run without a goal and seem determined to hit the woodwork with their best chances Fulham, one of our rare victories this season, would appear to have no problems scoring with Bent and Berbatov up top. But this is not the case. The fact they are below us says a lot about their defense - as porous as a sponge. This is either going to a goal fest as both defenses conspire to out -do the other or a bore draw as both attacks are incapable of scoring. As we enter the last 10 games everyone must have thought the title race was over. But no! Masky CS against Spurs last weekend drags himself back into the race and cuts Bfb's lead to 2 points. ccfcremotesupport continues to cling to 4th place and iswawronnymoorescore remains 3 points away from safety. Similary in the 2nd Division Blueturk holds a two point lead at the top as Welshman and GhostofNinian remain locked on 20 points, as they fight for the 2nd automatic promotion slot. The race for the playoffs remains as close as ever. Table up soon. Good Luck
this will be a tense game, a horrible atmosphere for players to play in. whoever loses goes down, if not both. i predicted a win last week but thats purely out of hope......
Right, in early for this one. To be our best game of season so far and a 3 - 1 win, Bellers, Caulker and Noone to notch. Won't be easy though as they have players with good Prem experience in Bent, Dempsey, Parker, Holtby, Heitinga, Richardson, Riise and Rodellega. We will need our top form. Thanks Sheep.
Agree Sheep. This really is a must win game and I think we will do it. 2-1 to the BLUEbirds please with Caulker and Mutch on the score sheet. Thanks.
Hmmmm Irish......an exact repeat of the scoreline and our scorers up there then is it mate? I think we can keep them out if we play the same style as at Spurs - hope Ole plays with some restraint but also with the right guys in midfield to prise them open. Out should go Gunnar and Kim - in should come Mutch and Noone, though I'll place money on him starting Zaha instead of Noone. Clean sheet at the back and some goals up front are almost as essential as the points to instill some confidence for the run in. Straight 3 - 0 for the City for me please Sheepy, with goals from Bellers, Mutch and Cambo.
Cardiff 4 - Fulham 0, all roads to survival start with a huge statement in this game. Noone 2 , Campbell and Bellend.Good luck
Not sure what to predict against Fulham, but in a must win situation how about a repeat of the score at The Cottage? First double of the season or I will be paying out early! 2-1 City, Camp Bell and Noone!
A blind 2 -1 win for City cos I don't want to consider the consequences. Caulker and Campbell to come through for City!
Enough doom and gloom. 4 1 to us. Campbell,Mutch,John and Caulker with our goals. Well, I can hope can't I?
I was going to say my usual 0-0 but I'm going to say 2-0 to us, Campbell & Mutch to score, edited after team was announced 10 minutes before kick off.
