I really really hope Leicester City go up.. I always like NP and consider him one of our best managers. Leicester City fans are ok . Foxes to the premier league...... Great stuff.
This has been coming for months. The fact it is now out is no shock at all. £177M net debt. FFS, if they go up they get a £40m fine and if they dont then they suffer a complete transfer embargo(on players in). DQPR turnover dropped from £54m to £50.4m (that is just turnover) Wage Costs soared from £58.5m to £78m They have the highest wage bill of any Bundeslega side other than Bayern Munich. Upto 26 players will leave in the summer regardless. (incl. Cesar, Remy, Taraabt, Sung-Park, Mbia, Granero, Diakte who are all out on loan) plus Hoilett who earn the most. DQPR desearve all that comes to them. They have made what Bartlett did @ Hull City look like Poundland over-spending.
From a selfish point of view and a reduction in distance for away travel for Hull next season I would like both Cardiff and Swansea and West Ham to be relegated. Sadly 2 of them wont. Lesta - Burnley and Derby would be most welcome for away days. I dont see Forest doing anything now. With Wigan on the move Forest could even miss out on the play-offs. imo.
Glad you think so. Cut your losses appears to be the way they are talking now. Plus they did not get rich by losing £177m either.
So he should. At least his daughter is importanrt and more so than the dramas. But lets wait and see whats happens. At least they get punished whichever league they are in next season.
Statement from QPR re their £65m loss, £166m loaned by the owners. "Every business requires capital. Now we have great assets." Erm.....no you don't.
Agreed. For example....Who do DQPR have that would improve us for next season other than say Loic Remy ?? (Players on loan to them dont count btw)
So when i quote your post saying "lets wait and see" you now say we dont have to wait and see!!! . We dont use lets wiat and see on here tickles its TWT you should know that. Its good to see you're carrying on Pattys good work.
How many times do i need to tell you.? That is your function on here and you are very very good at it.
You can bet Leicester would have sold more than 15,000 ticket for a quarter final. That is in a city not a lot larger than Hull with less people who have them as their nearest club and one where half the population or more come from cultural backgrounds where football is not a big deal. They also have rugby union's most successful club which gets crowds as large as the two Hull RL crowds combined. You are travelling on Sunday from over 30 miles away as are I and others I know. Makes you wonder how many actually from Hull are going. It is pathetic and embarrassing.
Perhaps if the Allams appeased the fans instead of p*****g them off there might be more there. Also, I think it is safe to say that Leicester do not have the unemployment issues associated with Hull. Think yourself lucky you can afford to go.
Of course all the pissed off people manage to forget about it and get along to see us play the likes of Man U, Liverpool etc... I am pissed off with theAllams and will stop going after 51 years of supporting Hull City if the name change goes ahead. But I will be there on Sunday. I may stop anyway due to the poor "match day experience" due to people there only to see the other team and moaning if people stand up or support the team too loudly for their delicate constitutions. How many of the people who supposedly can't afford to go will find far more to go to Wembley? How many will spend more than the £20 watching it in a pub! How many will spend that much in the pub on other days? Or on cigarettes? Or other things. It is a matter of priorities. I shouldn't imagine the employment situation is any better in Leicester than in Hull. It certainly isn't in Sheffield where they have sold out a larger stadium. As for lucky I can afford it, I don't smoke and have been to the pub once in the last 7 weeks. I have been to the City games with the exception of the Brighton replay when I was in hospital. Others smoke and go to the pub regularly. It isn't a question of luck. It is a question of how I choose to spend my money.
