Yes he's a decent player, but as far as I can see, there's already Tiote, Cabaye and Barton ahead of him in the pecking order, and that's assuming we don't sign any more. Fighting for 2 central midfield spots, Gosling will surely be a bit part backup player at the most?

Gosling will be involved in squad rotation I should imagine. Not quite a first team starter (yet) but more than just a bit part player hopefully.

He'll undoubtedly get starts this season. Don't forget Tiote goes to the ACN in January. He'll be on the bench at the start of the season, but definately has a role to play.

Boom. This too. We'll lose Tiote in January so it'd be good to have Gosling.

We're gonna have a bloody strong bench for a change! We're actually gonna have options!! <diva>

I see Gosling as a promising versatile(CM/RM/RB) squad player who can POTENTIALLY turn into a first team regular in the future. <ok>

I don't say it's out of the question. Particularly if Simpson/Tiote picks up a bad injury, I see him getting a decent run in the team

There will always be someone injured. His chance will come and I can see him starting up to 20 games this season. Solid versatile player.

Once we've got the final squad together he's in the same boat as everyone else and has to show he's worthy of making the team / squad..if he has a storming pre season and plays better than others vying for the same position, then put him in, simple.

    Rep'd. <ok>

Gosling can cover a number of positions and makes Raylor seem utterly pointless now. Can see him getting a fair few games if he stays fit (ACoN, cups).

Was really good at Everton, and I seem to remember he scored their goal of the season 2009-2010. Someone to look foward to :D

As a teenager he scored 6 goals in 37 games for a strong Everton team, has been a regular performer in the England setup and at the time of his 'transfer' his value was said to be around the £6m mark and he had been linked on occasion to 'top teams'.

If his injury hasn't set him back too much, I'm excited to see what he can do in 2012.
