I'd be happy to see Sheff Utd eliminated in the first round. They would soil my Wembley trip with their cocky 'eyup 't Blades' banter. An all Yorkshire match is a no- no for me. They would occupy valuable train spaces.
I can't understand why you have only given Sunderland 4,000 or so tickets..We had about 15,000 applications for this game, and I thought we may have got a few more sent up our way..
Of course I will because that is my entitlement as a pass holder. I have posted what I consider are valid reasons for non attendance on Sunday and it has nothing at all to do with the price of tickets if you can read. If you don't like it that is a matter for you.
You have the whole away stand, it's not possible for us to segregate off other parts of the ground, so that's the limit for away fans. We still hope to sell the rest ourselves anyway.
Maybe you could all turn up & congregate in Queen's Gardens to drink alcohol. Just promise not to act like scumbag hooligans & drop litter everywhere thus annoying any local diners on their way to Bob Carvers for a bit of "a la carte". I'm sure we'll even stretch as far as providing a bin.
http://metro.co.uk/ There's always the fall back of the curry house. "Six Manchester City fans were left red-faced and feeling blue when they arrived at Wembley for the Capital One Cup final with the wrong tickets. Instead of buying tickets to watch the cup final with Sunderland, they had tickets for the Premier League match between he two clubs at the Etihad Stadium on February 12 which was called off because of a waterlogged pitch."
Maybe its a its a generational thing but I will making a 430 mile round trip for this one even though it is televised. I was surprised how easy it was to get tickets in the middle of the east stand. For me, I can still remember the days of "cup fever" and I was at BP for the Chelsea and Stoke games and also the Emirates for the Arsenal QF. So although I only go to 5 or 6 KC games each season this one is a must for me.
I'm surprised the club haven't taken a similar stance to Man Utd when it comes to tickets. "If you don't buy this ticket your pass will be cancelled for this league game." Though I imagine for us it would be more like "Buy this ticket or we'll leave the club like spoiled brats"
Yes, I was. I empathise with your reasons for not travelling up. My remark was based on me assuming you were local. Now I know who you are from CI (going by your location)I understand your reasons and know you are a proper fan. However my point about prices still stands. £20 is more than reasonable. Will other QFs be cheaper? In any case £15 for adults is as cheap as you can go. People say they will watch it in the pub. Don't know about you but £20 isn't enough to see me through a session in the pub. And, the other point about people finding a lot more for Wembley is equally valid. A lot of people can afford it, they just don't want to.
Me and the missus are pass holders and we cannot make the game being on a Sunday due to a previous engagement which we can't get out of. We also know others around us who do other things on Sundays. If they didn't pratt about changing the days from Saturday, there would be more supporters there.
...What a prick that tory toffee nosed twit was..I thought the Times put him in his place the best by showing photos of the Jubilee celebrations, where the litter was a hundred times worse, with the headline, "Jubilee scumbag hooligans"?.. The bottom line is, is that they have removed virtually all the litter bins in central London due to terrorism fears..
I know a few of our fans have purchased tickets in the home sections, but I can't see many going down that road..
The Times were very good, I liked the "Scumbag New Year revellers" quote. The MP's a **** of the highest order, but not typical of his ilk
