Park was a good squad player that Fergie got the best out of like many others. However to put him in Willian's class is a little ridiculous. Don't remember many clubs looking to spend big on Park ever. To compare honours is a little short sighted. What exactly has Bale won for instance, or Suarez? But I'll admit that Park must look like a world beater when you have players like Young and Cleverly starting in your midfield.

Yeah, all true. Pity he went to City, he's won a few things of course but he's not playing where he should be at a level he should be. I recall this in the old 606 days, must have been four/five years ago or so, championing him as replacement for Scholes and/or Hargreaves as he was in the middle of his injury nightmare. Neither of those ever got replaced.
Bookmarked for this time next season. Willian took a while to settle in but was superb from the Liverpool game onwards. We also signed him late in August. If he has a good preseason he should start next season strongly, and will get more goals and assists too hopefully. Jose has started trying him as an ACM/no 10 too instead of Oscar. Think we will see more of that next season too with Schurrle out wide
