As you seem in the know jeff can you explain why Joel Sutton wasnt kept on?? Seen the youth team 4-5 times this season. Thought he was the best player on the pitch for City against Liverpool. Scored goals every time ive seen him play for City.[/QUOTE] No, thought joel had done enough, I presume the management thought danny chambers was better option, shame Joel and family massive city fans. I thought Sam topliss was mom v Liverpool.
Cooper is way above the level he's at now, I know he was a bit of a twat, the whole bird argument, hitting the wall thing was bollocks, but he was a decent player. He'll be in the Championship within the next two years.
Stuart Stewart was a real player though. I think he was a Chelsea youngster who was loaned out to Hearts around 2005.
I agree, he only has to look at Scott Wiseman to see that starting out at the bottom is a good way to learn your own game.
Did you just pluck these numbers out the air too? Numbers are not your strong point, you should stick to fairy tales.
Very curious - offshore did the bumping, and there's no way of knowing what his post was in reply to!
Are there any youngsters this year that have caught the eye? I've noticed Dougie Wilson hasn't gone out on loan anywhere and since Henderson came in, he hasn't featured in the cup matches either. Devonte Morton (incidentally my favourite name ever) is supposed to be good, but I haven't seen any of the aforementioned professional youngsters feature this season. They're never going to be playing in the Premier League at this stage; is it the level of opposition we've faced in the cups or are they just not good enough to make the ?breakthrough?
I went to the same school as Pete Skipper. But I left five years, probably more come to think of it, before he started.
Ben Clappison and Sam Topliss without a doubt. They look very good but need to play at a much higher level than our reserve side. Maybe North Ferriby in the Conference Premier would be good for them. ??
