The U21s are currently playing Brentford in the Development League @ Sparrows Lane after losing the return fixture 4-2 Starting Eleven: Phillips; Muldoon, Evina, Feely, Lennon; Munns, Gerard, Pritchard, Daniel, Koc; Sordell Bench: Doherty, Holmes-Dennis, Hanlan, Umerah, Sho-Silva So whilst Tobi Sho-Silva is eligible to play for the U21s as part of the Loan Agreement with Welling United there is no place for Piotr Pan who must surely be injured
At the time I said I thought Peter was a long term signing for Liege, and I still hold that opinion. Despite being owned by the same man, I'm sure he would have been signed for a better fee than had Liege gone for him. This way he also builds experience of having time in another country.
Agreed I've no concerns over Piotr (apart from the fact he's got a bloody annoying surname when trying to spell it)... Since he's joined we've played Birmingham, QPR, Sheff Wed and Leicester and from that group of teams the only side I'd want to see him facing was Birmingham i.e. Queens Park Rangers: Their defence is Richard Dunne and Nedum Onouha (two experienced Premier League players) Sheffield Wednesday: We know how rough their style of play is Leicester City: Running away with the League and in Liam Moore have an England U21 Defender Its a bit of a surprise not seeing him today as playing him with Sordell could give an insight into how the two could play together but remember when he signed he told us that we originally wanted him in the Summer it was him who wanted to sign now so Powell has probably told him that he cant take risks putting him in a relegation fight and has used Michael Smith as an example

Couple more updates... Its now 5-3 to Charlton... Marvin Sordell equalised to make it 2-2 on 48mins when Tobi Sho-Silva then made it 3-2 on 50mins... Martin Fillo then made it 3-3 just a minute later getting his hat-trick. Had to wait a little while for the next goal (58mins) before Tobi Sho-Silva got his secend and Anil Koc has just scored on 65mins

Had to miss this one due to having a tooth out. It looks as though Muldoon is at RB to stay, wonder how he's progressing?
I know we've got Nego at Right-Back now but could you see Muldoon being an under-study at the position and what with Solly being out could you see him having that spot in the First-Team anytime soon with Wilson being moved further forwards?
Not much help with solving our first team goal drought. I wouldn't want to see any of that lot playing this season and I imagine only Sho-Silva will still be with us next season. Now if Piggott or Azeez had played and scored all six I would be more enthusiastic.
I reckon Azeez will be on his way as well to be honest... Feely might stay but I'd be surprised with Joe Gomez moving up Evina will be on his way especially after Morgan Fox got the nod ahead of him against Sheff Wed Koc... Might come back depending on how he does for the U21s and depending on what other Wingers we could get next year Sordell.... GOD NO... PLEASE NO!!
It's Catch22 with all these guys. If they look good they will be be wanted back in Liege. If they are crap they won't be good enough for us. I think it is a bloody disgrace that Sordell is occupying a space in the u21s one of our own youngsters or a triallist could fill. What is the point of playing him? What could we possibly learn that we don't already know? He must have some incriminating photos of Powell or Murray (maybe of them both together) to have avoided being locked in the groundsman's shed until the season is safely over. W*nker!
I was going to go but I had a Hospital appointment which has provided a bit of a bombshell.i have been told that I have prostate cancer. Luckily it is at an early stage and I am going to have my prostate removed. The specialist has assured me that he thinks that will solve the problem. I am just waiting for the date. But he ho life goes on and I am a bit peed off that I will miss most of the rest of the season.
Bloody hell mate. Horrible news, though I suppose you've got to be relieved in these situations that it's operable. Good luck with the next couple of months.
