He'll be fit for the start of pre-season all going well apparently. Pardew is supposed to be impressed with his determination and desire to get fit.
He's in America, pre-season started early for him I think to get his fitness back. Hopefully will have a part to play for us next season.
well he's been injured for 18 months but when he comes back he will overtake guthrie as our first back up midfielder
Nice one, never see him involved in anyones formations, soo you think more of a benchwarmer than a first teamer
I'm looking forward to seeing him, especially in his preferred CM position where he rarely got a chance to play for Everton. Obviously there's a lot of competition in that area but he should get a chance.
Yeah think he'll be on the bench more, but see no reason why he can't crack into the first team. Hopefully will play a massive part next season.
i remember seeing somewhere that pardew said he expects gosling to play a big role next season so hopefully we will get to see him !
Gosling is versatile though, remember that? He can play across the whole midfield(LM/RM/CM) & cover the full-back areas(RB/LB) I think. Replacement for Perch? probably.
I don't see him as a replacement for Guthrie though, more like a young & promising versatile squad player who can turn into a potentially good first team player, weather that be CM or RM/RB, time will tell.
i love our danny boy, but gosling could be promising, with nolan gone... and with barton in no mans land could be a great oportunity to both step up
