    Title says it all really.
Very admirable display but they just had that extra quality.

It was fabulous effort – from both your players and the supporters.

Did SAFC very proud today, no disgrace in losing like that. Moments of world-class quality the difference.

For the whole of the first half hunger and hard work had silly money on the rack!

Commiserations, but sincerely very well done.

Yes at least you gave it a go unlike our late 90's finals. Can't do much against individual quality like that.

Thought there was a foul on Sunderland player just before the third goal. Yes MC payer take the ball but in order to do so he has to go through the Sunderland player to win the ball.

Sky commentators were having a love affair with the ref and were never going to criticise him. Poor decision, but in all honesty did not affect the result.

    Good game and well played.

Reflects how unfair it is when billionaires come in a bank role clubs like city and chelski.

Neither are big clubs,,,, simply rich cluBs. Huge difference.

and didn't Yaya handle it in the box? There were moments when you looked like you were going to romp home.

In the end City probably did deserve it but there's not much in it and it was simply a fantastic performance at the end of a great cup run.

Sunderland did absolutely nothing wrong in that match. A fine performance.

Gutted we played well and did not really deserve to lose. Well done City quality players who can come up with moments of brilliance to win games. Ref let us down for the incident which let to the 3rd goal.

Thought the Ref had a blinder under the 90th minute when we didn’t get a foul on the edge of their area.

Cheers mate proud of the team and fans today. Obviously gutted to lose but we gave it a good go and barring two moments of magic we may well have won it. It's a hard one to take as realistically we had a one in ten shot at best so was braced for defeat but the manner of it has left me thinking what if? As we were equal to city for 88 mins barring the two quality goals.

Thought the skill factor for 1st 3 goals was top class, down but not disheartened, proud as of both the players who gave the lot and our fantastic support who never stopped trying to raise the players, how many did we have in that ground?
