    An utterly sublime footballer.

He is very good. Suarez, Aguero, Yaya, Willo, they are all great players. I'd struggle to single one out but if I could take any player it would be Yaya (we already have Willo). He and Kolo have a great song afterall.

In other news I like Tim Sherwood after his recent interview about Steven Caulker:

Sherwood's previous developmental role at Spurs means he knows Caulker well and he has backed the Cardiff skipper to flourish.

"He is a man," Sherwood said. "I mean that in the sense that even though he has been a kid, he has always been a man in stature.

"He knows what is right and wrong. He is willing to learn and he is willing to stand up for his beliefs. I like that.

"There are too many side-parting 'Smedley' kids about. It is good to have a character, someone who might be harder to manage but is a good player.

"Steven is obviously a good player and he has been called into the England squad. He is a regular England international of the future, I have no doubt."

Anyone who describes players as "side parting 'Smedley' kids" is destined for greatness. He could be Alan's assistant when he takes over from Woy.

Both very different players I would agree that Suarez is edging it.
What Suarez is good at is Always performing regardless of the pressure or the occasion.
The bloke is a bellend but he is becoming consistent year in year out.

Hazard has the potential to become a world beater but its early days

Suarez is the finished article, whereas Hazard is still learning (which is scary!).

Suarez at this moment in time is the 3rd best player in the world. Yeah I support Liverpool so people make think I am biased - but you tell me who's performing like he is week in week out in world football?

In the so called 'best league in Europe' he leads total goals and total assists - to lead both categories is impressive, especially as the nutter missed the first 5 or 6 games of the season!

Suarez is the better player but Hazard probably has probably edged it on most recent form. He is just getting better and better tho.

I think that one of Suarez' best assets is he is so unselfish. He expects the same from his team mates also which helps to create a cohesive force going forward. He is a little rat but you would love to have him in your team.

Bale? Yaya? Ribery? Neuer? Hummells? To be fair there are loads but we are brainwashed by the PL and forwards. Its like defenders, keepers, midfielders don't exist. Don't get me wrong Suarez is top class, I'd just find it harder to rate as the worlds 3rd best given all the talent out there and the standard of PL in comparison to other leagues at present.

Fair shout on those names. But I'd have Suarez in my team all day, before any of those <ok>

Suarez is sensational, he's been affecting games where he hasn't even scored.

Hazard turns it on a lot less frequently, and he's so one-footed he basically hops around... I think he's good, but I'd rate Yaya, David Silva, Aguero, Mata above him (even if Mourinho doesn't rate the latter) as well.

It'll be interesting to see who becomes the best in the world when Messi and Ronaldo retire though... very interesting.

    Evening District.
He's one of only a handful of footballers from an opposing team who I'd gladly pay money to see.
His young age suggests even greater moments are ahead.

Yaya showed his class today. Poor game by his standards, but great players can always produce when it matters. Bale is making a good case for taking over from Messi/Ronaldo. Saying that Messi is only 26.
