It will be interesting to see the logic of the punishment on this one. Someone punches a horse and gets 12 months. Someone head butts some and gets????? Got to say the script writers at Sid James Park are unbelieveable....thought Morecambe & Wise writers and Johnny Sullivan for 'Only Fools and Horses' were brilliant but them guys up there out of this world.....It's the Oscars hear tomorrow...surely some of them have to be getting off the plane to get their rewards..... <laugh>

I expect the book to be throw at David Meyler for putting his head where Pardew could nut it. AP will get a suspended 3 match ban and told to watch his conduct in future.

Of course if it was our manager he would be hounded out of football for doing something as pathetic as that. Let's see how MOTD square this, provoked by Meyler as he went to get the ball.

Quote of the Day "It was a heat of the moment thing. I did not mean any damage to the guy but I have moved my head forward. I tried to push him away with my head but I should not have done that."

Note that the quote is now showing on the BBC without the heat of the moment mentioned.

Well mate, I can't really take the moral high ground over losing it can I?
Everybody does things they regret. Sadly, Parsnip has brought more shame on his club.

Meyler pushed Pardew aggressively in the chest. That seems to have become lost in all the self-righteous hysteria.

    A win is a win. You're welcome.

I started one of those and it's more about how much of a joke Moyes is than anything about Pardew mate.
