Where the hell is Holtby? He better have a good reason. If anyone could open up Chelsea it was him. Still believing though.

    Pace? None
    Midfield? Non existent

Team selection crap. If these are the experienced players to save us we are doomed!

Sounded like we did alright in the first half but that Chelsea were poor. The challenge becomes harder with each game but I ain't over yet

Hope maybe not lost but the fans seems to have lost the will to live!

    Wrong team selection and subs.

    Optimism GONE.same old same old.
When a manager is recruited at fulham,is the question.
"Good morning" just read your cv, i only have one question team selection,"do you select after
watching and taking notes at training sessions" or just guess.
Answer(last 3 managers) Guess and take a chance, YES ok your appointed.

I actually think that Rene had started putting a team together...

Today's team was shambles! Parker is a fighter but lost it. Kasami tried but out of position!

Dempsey should have not even been on the bench! Not to say even in the ground!

    Agree with roscafe!

Agree with everybody. The game was lost before the ball was kicked.

Dempsey and Bent contributed zilch. Totally brain dead the pair of them. Not that there were many football brains out there; wanting too much time on the ball, as exemplified by our goalkeeper, or making do with kicking it any old where. That is, until Holtby and Kara came on but as everything has been this season - too little, too late.

I thought Felix would have learned something from the West Brom game but apparently not. Crucially that a two-man midfield of Parker and Sidwell just does not work.

While the team selection was at the root of this defeat, there were other very worrying factors. Lack of communication and lack of professional nous, being but two. As bad as it gets I'm afraid.

Like all the fans around me this afternoon I was left wondering, would youngster's in the team really have been worse than that?

This is exactly the problem with chopping and changing managers, each regime needs to time to figure out what the best team and system is. It looked like Rene was there, now we have to wait for Felix to make his mark.

    What a joke.

    Pathetic!

My daughter asked me to leave at 3-0 as she couldn't take it any more. She was almost in tears.

After having three managers that have all failed thus far, when is it time to lay the blame squarely at the players feet? Yes, the selection/subs were poor today, but did those selected in their right positions make a cause for themselves? I don't think so. Dempsey and Bent both had chances, good chances which were squandered. Can we blame Felix for those missed chances, or Hangeland's injury, or Stek's freak show?

I'd hope that the Championship would allow us to trim the squad considerably, getting rid of the deadwood, and my is there a lot of it, but the players Felix seems intent on losing/selling are the ones who could have actually made a difference today (Kvist, Holtby)

Honestly cannot wait for this season to be over. Actually groaned when we scored as it meant Ivanovic had lost his clean sheet in my fantasy team!

Just seen the goals, our defending for all 3 was awful, burn got caught ball watching for the first two and I guess Richardson was caught out of position for the third. We seemed to be playing a very high line which against a team like Chelsea and with a defence as slow as ours is a very risky thing to do. Surprised by that, I guess Felix was confident that Parker and Sidders would stop the distribution.

    Well he knows better now...

In this interview he is very scathing about our defence. The main point of the article though is about the loss of Brede and that he's been taken to hospital - hopefully as a precaution.

"Fulham boss Felix Magath says his side suffered against rivals Chelsea due to the loss of captain Brede Hangeland.

Magath said: "I was satisfied with the first half. We had control of the game and did not give Chelsea many chances, and we had two or three good situations. But I don't know what happened - at half-time the players forgot how to defend. It was a big problem that captain Brede Hangeland was injured. I don't know how injured he is as he has gone to the hospital. We will just have to wait and see."

"I will remind my players every day in training next week to defend. We will do more defensive work but I hope Hangeland will be back. But we have to work on defending."

“I have seldom seen such a goal we conceded today. (Andre) Schurrle takes the ball and runs over the whole field and no one tackled him. He ran 90 metres without any contact, I have never seen this before."

"When you take over a team that has no wins and losing confidence then you lose morale when you go behind. Our leader is not there, so it was too difficult a situation at the moment. We have to work on the defence. We have not played like a relegation team in those first 45 minutes."

In the first half Chelsea were awful! We managed to keep the balance just.

Our formation was asking for trouble. Without Holtby or Kara there is nobody who can see a pass forward. Or even when the ball was going forward to either Dempsey or Bent it was a nightmare. The only good chance was Kasami's. There was no cohesion once more!

I think he is right about defence and probably Hangeland would have been better leading. Communication is another issue. Players do not call the ball. The incident that resulted to Hangeland's injury nearly happened again straight after.

In any case, probably we were asking too much against a strong side but if we are to stay up we need performances. And we didn't get this today. Kvist is partnering better with Sidwell as he scoops most of the loose balls.

    Thank god Dempsey is leaving!

Hopefully Mitrogloy will be fit again and won't have to watch Bent very often!

    Nothings changed
Have a good 1st half, don't take our chances
and then 2nd half lose the game through poor passing.

Agree with others the starting lineup was not what I was expecting.
We played all game with two ineffectual forwards in Bent and Dempsey.

Burn is young and will make mistakes at this level, we have no one else to replace
Hangeland. For the last time Richardson is not a LB but again who else do we have Riise - he's just as poor at this level but Jan was not the time to change all this. It needs a major clear out and we'll get it I'm sure.
Holtby on the bench was an odd choice given he's been our best player over last 3 games. He was so keen to get on and help the cause fair play to him. Up front....where do you start. Dempsey - should not have come back to the club. He looks unfit and clearly not the same player. Couldn't even be bothered to thank the fans after his last game, I'm glad he's gone offered us nothing. Bent - I've been patient with him, he's just like Dempsey could not be bothered. Neither of the front 2 had a shot on goal. Hugo....what must he be thinking, did little wrong at WBA led the line and put a shift in ok he's not a world beater but he tries. As mentioned the Parker / Sidwell combo doesn't work. Parker made some good tackles but faded badly...again. Not sure why we got him in either a CM player who can't play 90 mins in a relegation battle?
So not doubt wholesale changes for Cardiff. So much for a settled side. That today was Jol's team minus Heitinga and as we all know is not good enough in this division.
I have QPR mates, they enjoy the Championship, they score goals and win games. Forget who they are we could And should enjoy the same next season down there possibly with them.
