55 minutes in, 3-1 down, too many errors, could be 4-3 up but there again this is Hull City I'm watching. Poor team play.
Probably the luckiest team to visit the KC this season, fair play to them for taking their chances but they certainly didn't deserve to win 4-1.
Our counter attacks were your undoing. If not for some glaring mistakes it would have been a closer match. I felt we were the better team (controlled the midfield) but you had some tasty chances that should have been put away. Comfortable mid table finish for you guys which I am sure you would have accepted at the start of the season.
We certainly should have buried a couple of our chances (Elmo's header, good save by Krul on the line and deflection on Jelavic's free kick spring to mind) and we gifted them a couple of chances. Fair play to them for their energy in midfield. Never let us get settled on the ball and forced a couple of those errors. They also countered with a lot of pace and, for the most part, controlled the game in the middle of the park. Hopefully Davies' knock isn't too bad. He looked like he was struggling from about 50mins on and we need him for the run-in.
