He's already 16k in the hole with me and Rude ..... start thinking up a suitable new name for him! Although, I'm pretty sure he's already used up his quota
Welll.... if the Liquidator is going, I'll have £20 @ 50/1. And £180 on Sire De Grugy now he's back out to 4/1. £400 bet so far.
Great thread Boris Im going to plow in with £500 on Annie Power at the 5s and im going to assembly this morning for another £500 at 12s
I think I still have £795 to stake. 10 days to think about it, or will you be closing up before that Joe?
I'll take Quevega and Faugheen in a double at 6/4 and 9/2 and if you want to reduce my chance of winning add Briar Hill in the AB at industry best priced 9/2. £1000 double or treble. Your call. Good luck mate. Good fun thread.
Hes got a pacemaker to beat, cant believe hes 9/2 this close to the race, im on at 10s but not for a lot, nice dbl with Faugheen at 12s too.
I have him at 12's as well. And 12/1 and 14/1 Faugheen double. Now all they have to do is rock up and do the business.
Lads, you really keen on Briar Hill? You fully comfortable with the idea of him in an Albert Bartlett? I just wondered if a good ground Neptune might suit him- apparantly he is a better horse on spring ground- as per Mullins quote regarding his bumper performance last year. I can't quite work out what to make of him this year. He is obviously smart, but he has not been put in a tough race yet.
If I give you the treble I might as well give you 9/2 as it would wipe me out either way, with Quevega winning there is a good chance one of the other Quevega doubles comes up. Hes not on the board and I want to keep my username! If I thought the treble had no chance I would take it but I must refuse, im quite happy to take any trebles or whatever on everything that is up. If I take enough in before monday night I might offer it, I suspect he will be closer to 5/2 with the real bookies by then.
