No way are our club going to be too far adrift after this week-ends games!I can only see defeats for Cardiff,Palace,Stoke and Fulham this week-end.This puts us in the driving-seat for survival in the top-flight.After we win the Carling Cup on sunday, our season can only get better!:lipsrsealed:

Unfortunately these bloody teams seem to win against the odds when least expected!

Problem being if we beat Hull in the cup will our players, like at Arsenal say "f*ck the league" and play sh*te again for the sake of another 1-2 Wembley appearances?
This could then cut us adrift. Hopefully Gus wont allow that to happen again.

This is where Gus should use his squad. He should have mixed it up at Arsenal with a Wembley carrot dangling for players like Gardner Larsson Giaccherini. It was obvious if we went with our regular 11 we wouldn't get blood and thunder one week before the biggest game of most of their careers.

So far so good, Fulham and Hull down but not so good with Stoke winning I was hoping for an Arsenal win, but with a rookie striker firing blanks, no chance, its just a pity he didnt play against us it might have evened things up a bit. Strikers are there to score goals and goals win matches.

It's always handy having other games in our favour, but our home games with three of the teams around us are the key to our survival. Reckon only wins against Palace and WBA will do.
