yes, erm extra-time, fatigue, penalties, niggly knocks and injuries, red cards.. rather Sunderland win regardless and that it is their season high.. could they follow in Wigan's footsteps afterwards? or Swansea who seemed unable to awake from their slumber after the CC win..
Sunderland 3 - 0 up with two minutes to go. A parrot then lands on the pitch in an uncontrolled descent, breaks its little leg and needs to be put in traction. Whilst it is being wheeled off on a tiny gurney, it suffers a cardiac arrest and despite the best attention of all medical staff present it becomes an ex-parrot. The game is abandoned and a traumatised and shocked crowd drift away in silence. Man City win the replayed game 17 - 0.
I would just like to see Sunderland win; many mates are making the journey and I wish them the very best. Proper team, proper supporters, proper attitude. Then we play them and then we beat them - that's football. Get in the Black Cats - for this game.
Funny that this '**** Sunderland team' has achieved more this season with all their **** players than our club has ever managed. I know no ones really called them ****e on this thread, but all season it's been almost constant about how **** they are. A little home truth to keep our feet on the floor with regards next weekend, they're not as bad as they made themselves look against us. With regards the result, I don't care too much but edge for a Sunderland win to stick two fingers up to the money mob. Either way I reckon they'll be well up for it against us, not only because 2 Wembley appearances in a season is a fantastic achievement, but also because of the two league games this season they'll be desperate to get one over us I bet.
The sheep shaggers of South Wales beat them at their place too............ but they are gonna get relegated, same as your lot........ means nothing.
Did you say the same about the FA Cup final last season by any chance?? It's a one-off game, and it only needs City to have a slightly off day again
Bruce didn't fail at Brighton, he's never even managed there, dimbo. Now we've lost to Newcastle at home we can approach next Sunday in a less cocky and more focused frame of mind.
Bruce did not get the job at this level, he took a step down to the championship and earned his place.
If I was going to put my mortgage on a result it would be Man City winning this game final result, after last years FA Cup performance they won't let their fans down again
