Anthony Gardner, Robert Koren now, simon walton, junior lewis, sergio leite, peter halmosi, steve mcphee, adebola, james harper and dean marney would be my shouts
Koren should not be on this thread whatsoever. He has contributed loads, and even though he isn't playing well atm, he's still a good player. Nor should Marney, even if he is a dick.
ha ha ha although I was also at that match, it had slipped my mind. very funny. As most have said, we have had plenty of ****e over the years, but in my time of following city since 1976/7 the winner by a country mile goes to..... DAVID JONES.
What has he done for the club? Besides conceding an absurd amount of throwings due to terrible passing? Lazy is kinda useless...
What has he done for the club? Apart from score quite a few goals from midfield in a side that couldn't score for love nor money and essentially kept us within a shout of the playoffs in 2010/11 and 2011/12? Yeah, not much really. Well, that mean Geovanni was useless then. And Okocha. I presume Berbatov was also useless too.
Koren's not been at his best for a while now, but he's nowhere near being that bad that he should be considered one of our worst ever players. He was very good in the 10/11 season and absolutely fantastic in the 11/12 season, and for that I'll always remember him fondly.
If a said person has been watching Hull City since at least 2011 and believes Robert Koren is the worst player in our history, one can only conclude the said person is an utter ****, **** and shat-bender.
Good God. Robert Koren??? Are you serious or having us on. RoKo has been a huge contributor to our success in recent years and still puts in a good shift as a sub although past it as a starter IMO. He's been a loyal member of the team and we should be pleased he joined us. Useless??? You must be joking. As for Marney...bit of a headless chicken at times but always gave 100% and still doing a job at Burnley. Far from useless. His work rate was up there with Elmo's....but not the end product.
Koren being captain is irrelevant. Again Marney couldn't kick a ball accurately and was constantly giving the ball away and gifting possession to the opponent. Just because he ran around as well doesn't mean he was good. I think most of you are missing the point in useless and confusing that with terrible. Also missing the point that I'm entitled to my opinion. Think what I'm trying to say is stop crying.
I was in the seats at Torquay and Jon French kicked the ball into touch while trying to cross it. I murmured some thing like Bloody Hell, Frenchy when a Hyacinth Bucket voice behind me said "you couldn't do any better!" It was his mother.
