I have been giving thought to Rangers current position and why we find ourselves in it:- 1) Injuries have hit our most talented players - Faulin, Phillips, Austin, Simpson. 2) Their replacements, be they squad players or brought in, are not up to the mark. 3) Football is a team game. You cannot create a team with approx 10 loanee's. Leicester and Burnley have about one loanee each - proves my point. 4) When was the last time we had a settled midfield. Constant change does not help. 5) The flowing football of early season has gone and coincides with the loss of Steve McLaren - Most probably the brains behind our start. 6) Currently retired, but when I worked my staff each had agreed job descriptions which I was able to compare with performance. I am not at all certain if the coaching staff have anything like this otherwise they would have gone months ago. What does Bond and Jordon actually do? With respect to Harry, I doubt if he does a great deal and I support the view that he finds players and says "get on with it". 7) Stop Sky from televising Rangers and forgo the revenue. We have never played any good on the box. Answer: a) Decide on a chosen team and keep with it. b) For gods sake practice shooting. c) Play attacking football, we must score more from all areas. d) accept play off place.
Compare this thread I made the other day: http://www.not606.com/showthread.php/251497-Discuss-The-condition-of-things-only-4-or-5-games-ago?p=6126797#post6126797
Very good I agree with every word Given where we are I would say priority is to chose a team and stick with it for the rest of the season There is not much between the players left in terms of those 6th to 16th in talent so chose 6of them and stop changing things
