Brazil? Good to go! Newcastle are set to gain a further full international with confirmation from the Australian Football Federation that defender Curtis Good has been selected for a World Cup warm-up game in March. The 20 year-old who is currently on loan to Dundee United receives a maiden call-up for a kickabout against Ecuador in the unlikely setting of Millwall's New Den. Assuming he gets some pitch time, Curtis will become the fourth Magpie to win a cap for Australia in the Premier League era, following Mark Viduka, Craig Moore and reserve team player James Troisi. Good's most recent international appearance came in January of this year, when he captained the U22 "Olyroos" side in a tournament staged in Oman. From NUFC.com
You never know he may be knocking on the door of the first team next season. Not an easy group for the Aussies with Spain, Holland and Chile.
Just as it wouldn't be an easy group for Chile, Holland and Spain playing cricket against the Aussies.
Holland are in the 20/20 world cup starting next month. If they win their prelim group they would go into Englands' group. England would probably screw it up against them.
Dutch have turned England over before at cricket in 2009 world cup. strange game that 20/20 lark. http://www.espncricinfo.com/wt202009/content/story/407598.html
