Away days..

I lifted this from .com and was rather surprised at where we have picked up our 99 wins in the PL thus far....

0 Barnsley, Blackpool, Bradford City, Hull City, Reading, Swindon Town, Watford, Wimbledon.

 

Considering our supposed 'London Voodoo', that's a lot of wins in the capital against spurs, wham, arsenal, palace, Fulham, QPR

 

I don't know whether to be pleased about the number of wins v the likes of Villa, West Ham, Spurs, Arsenal and Mackems

Or upset at not beating any of the following away - Barnsley, Blackpool, Bradford City, Hull City, Reading, Swindon Town, Watford, Wimbledon. Maybe we can alter that list tomorrow?

 

Hmm, I think some of those were only in the league the first season, hence when we weren't, so not sure we've actually played them at all? Could be wrong though. Even if we have played them, its probably only been once (Blackpool and Watford definitely), so I wouldn't read much into that

Bar Wimbledon the rest were not in the premiership in the first season before we went up, granted a lot of them we only played a couple of times.
Bradford,Barnsley,Watford we ended up with draws

 

we might not have beaten Reading away in the PL.
but importantly we DID beat them down there in April 2010 to clinch promotion.

 

I remember that one well. Was in the crowd.

as I was, got in for free via a Reading steward we knew from work and moved into our end.
luckily I was working just outside Reading that day, so even had hotel and travel paid for.
