An odd feeling.....

That we might pull off something incredible this transfer window.

Yes I know we are not a 'big club', but there is no denying that we are well known throughout Europe. We have made a few appearences in the Champs League (more than Spuds), and we seem to be building a decent team to sustain a top half premiership place.

I just think, every transfer window something no one expects happens. (Robinho to Man City, Van Der Vart to Spuds etc). I have a feeling it may be us. We seem to have a great scouting network, that identifies not only great diamond in the rough players, but great deals aswell.

I just have a feeling, I will probably be completely wrong, that we may just pull off something spectacular like Gomez, and if that happens.....well.....I believe I made a topic stating what I would do.

We live in hope!! (Better than living in frustration)

In all honestly, I think we'll bumble through quietly, pulling off some decent signings but without going nuts. Barnetta, The Zog, Erdinc, etc. Don't think we'll be in for a Gomez caliber player...

I'm living in hope that we will do well this summer but it's certainly not going to be any transfers that will have much surprise/shock element to them.

 

And if we don't sign Gomez, will you be removing something?

I would be thrilled with that, and even if we lost Jose and Joey I wouldnt be too disapointed if all of those came in, within the wage structure for good deals. But I see Im not alone with this inkling that we may pull off something spectacular.

We've been up for one season now, so we need to take things nice and slow and continue focusing on avoiding second season syndrome. When we survive next season then MAYBE we can focus on bringing in bigger names that sell

These are the positive deluded articles that I love!

I'll be keeping my fingers crossed, we'll have some more uproar at Sales this summer but I can see someone like Matuidi coming, and that would be huge.

 

I too think something incredible will happen, we'll end up with fewer players than we started with and A.P will claim this is a good thing because we're more " streamlined" or some **** like that.

Also, M.A will probably make a profit this window too. Fat c*nt.
