There is one saving grace... We don't have to hear the MOTD guys saying how Napoli were the only team on the pitch over 180 minutes

should have gone through we were the better side in both legs - things didnt go our way in the end and the Emnes/Taylor sub was the turning point for me - we invited them on to a game we were dominating and with 20 mins left it was a big ask to keep them at bay. still we threw everything at them and it was an incredible finale. we can take immense pride from our Euro adventure and we have put ourselves on the Euro map for the type of football we play. hope the Jack Army get home safely - now we can concentrate on the league but if we keep putting on these high quality performances i wont have any worries

 

Do Palace have Napoli's firepower? Nowhere near so I still feel very confident.

 

So unlucky out there tonight lads, that freakish 2nd goal was the straw that finally broke the camel's back, until then I thought you did superb and their third only happened because you had to throw everyone forward and chase the game.
Any game against Italian opposition away is difficult for any club but your team handled it very well.

 

We play like we have since Cardiff and we'll batter Palace Sunday if we take our chances.

 

We could and should have won that game. Disappointing.

 

Monk does make some odd substitutions. We seem to have plenty of energy but I am surprised that we are still sloppy in defence. But still they were lucky to get second goal and were very unlucky not to get more goals.

Radio guys saying it was a definite penalty. Not sure Tiendali helped by going down so dramatically.

We need Michu back as he would have had a couple of them shots on target tonight. We were clearly the better side but that's no good if we cant finish as this game testifies....

Thing is tonight their players put their lives on the line to block any shots they can, but I agree those we got on target were at times of little power or too close to the keeper. Good game though.

 

Great performance but those missed chances cost us. Just concerned how much that will have taken out of the boys both physically and mentally. Will be a good test for Garry to get them up for the Palace game and what better way to get over it with a resounding 3-0 home win

 

3~0 against palace would be nice, doubt it tho. At least we will have a rested Britton, shelvey and Rangel

Caught his foot after ball gone. I think it might have been given if he had stumbled to the floor instead of throwing himself to floor. To be honest we lost control of the game in second half. Would of loved to have been able to bring shelvey and michu on in second half.
