Fav ...... shared no doubt with Oddy - Carbury getting Bellvano home in 2012 carrying both our wads!

Worst ...... Un Atout last year - financially painful!

    Worst.
Pendil (my favourite chaser at the time) getting worn down by The Dickler in the Gold Cup

Best - Really tough one, I have fond memories of Inglis Drever in the World Hurdle, Master Minded was superb in the QMCC as was Sprinter Sacre, but for me it was Kauto Star regaining his crown.

Worst - JT McNamara and his awful fall.

Hanging my head in shame for forgetting Kauto Star regaining his crown. Also Desert Orchid winning the Gold Cup was rather emotional. Although it wasn't the best of Gold Cups, it was his typical guts that got him home in atrocious ground.

Favourite ~ As a racing fan, it's got to be Big Buck's winning the World Hurdle in 2012. As a punter, it's Istabraq winning the Champion Hurdle for the first time.

Most painful ~ I had a monster bet on Our Vic in the RSA. He was a good thing, but McCoy somehow managed to get beaten on him. Another very painful memory was Valiramix being fatally injured in the Champion Hurdle

Favourite - Kauto Star in 09. Few reasons, had a big bet in the morning at 9/4, I loved him, wanted him to cement himself in history as one of the greatest of all time, and was desperate for him to gain revenge for the painful defeat the year before. Had also had a decent win on Zaynar in the Triumph that day so overall was one of the best days out racing I've had.

Worst - Denman destroying Kauto in 08 GC, at the time I was horrified at what this upstart was doing to my racing hero. I look back now and recognise it as the best single GC performance I've been lucky to see, and ever will see.

    Can I change my fav?

I'd forgotten about this - strictly pocket inspired - I loved Dessie, but dough is dough!
