Both are the easiest of the lot. Newcastle have nothing but pride to play for now. Wba ? well who knows what state they shall be in come march 22nd. One down and 4 to go. Winning the lot is well within us, imo.
Besides the fact that if, just if, everything fell into place, they might just get a mini-europe place? I would play my arse off for that - why not? It's down to the manager to get them up for it - as it is ours!
Given Sunderland have a knack of getting players sent off against us a replay might not be a bad thing. The more league games we can have their players miss due to suspensions the better. These two weekends off could be critical for them as well. If other results go against them they could be well in the **** by the time they play and give up the belief they can make it back, if they go their way then they could be as they are but with games in hand which would give them a bit of confidence.
I want them to win the League Cup. I think if they lose that final, especially if it's a close game, then they'll be raring to go against us to sort of make up for the loss. Whereas if they win it they might completely ease off their focus on the FA Cup.
