So that's Bruce, Elmo, Figgy, McGregor, Jelly, Long, Quinn & Meyler. Let's hope they all come back in one piece.
Same for all clubs. Crazy to play meaningless friendly games now. Utter madness. But well done and good luck to all our lads.
Hodgson is calling up an expanded squad tomorrow apparently. Hopefully he gets his head out of Man Utd's arse and picks people who deserve it from the supposed 'unfashionable' clubs.
Thudd was on talksport earlier and he said he was hopeful over a future callup. http://talksport.com/football/exclusive-huddlestone-hopeful-over-england-world-cup-call-14022681392
Well that's Chester & Davies starting against Sunderland. Figueroa will be cream crackered playing 5 games in 2 weeks & travelling all that way. Let's hope Rosey doesn't get injured this week.
After last night if either one of Clevs or Smalls gets the nod Roy will be setting himself up for a complete ripping to pieces. Even the Manyoo die hards on farvlarv last night, were saying they should have been nowhere near their squad for weeks and definitely not ingerlands.
Cleverley and Smalling have been criticised pretty much since they broke into the United side, by all fans including their own. The fact either of them have even 1 cap between them is unbelievable.
Congratulations to Alex. You may not have the technical ability of many in the Prem. But you are second to none in your guts and commitment....just like your Dad. He must be proud of you. Just hope Curtis gets the nod tomorrow. Smalling was pathetic in the Man U. game the other day...even the commentators were having a laugh. As for Cleverley...WHO?????
I could not agree more. Only Wayne Rooney from Man Utd deserves an England call up at the moment. FACT. Come on Ray. Do the right thing and pick Davies and Huddleston.
Jagielka is injured for next week's England match. Would be nice to think that Roy would have a look at Davies but unfortunately I think he will do his usual and pick someone out of the a 'fashionable club' who can't even get into their first team.
