Who else is going to the AGM on Wednesday. Not sure who else has heard anything about who the mystery investors are but the name Simon Jordan has been mentioned to me anyone else heard this?
heard that its some people who have previously been involved in football, which could go either way. I think we need to know their experience , what it is, in what capacity and how successful it was. I personally wont be attending the meeting due to my geographical location (on not606 we are not exactly the most local bunch!) but please update on here if you are attending welcome to the forum btw!
There are a few names being thrown into the hat but no certainties as for going its over 90 mile round trip for me so count me out at this stage
From what i understand the potential new owners will not be at the meeting tonight and they're name will not be released either.Something doesn't seem right to me.
You never know, it could be some mega rich Arabs with money to throw away who'll buy you a winning team.
Hopefully, nothing like the skint "mega rich" arabs who bought Pompey a few years back, and started us off on the road to ruin.....
We're led to believe it's a British company who want to buy us out. No dodgy Arabs for us it seems but whoever takes over the can't be as bad as that **** Steve Hayes!
still very quiet on this - perhaps their waiting until pre-season? is anyone on here a trust member and can enlighten us?
An email I received a couple of days ago The latest situation is as follows: Potential Purchase Some progress has been made with the original purchaser (who still can't be named), but in the interim, we have been approached by two other interested parties, and we have commenced initial discussions with them to see if their interest is legitimate and worthy of presentation to the members. If this is the case, we will seek to arrange a presentation in the very near future. Share Issue Given our recent experience of negotiations within the football industry, we have to assume that the above deals may not be acceptable to members. I have therefore included, via the link below, a document which outlines the details of the Community Share Scheme. I cannot stress enough how important this share scheme is to the future of Wycombe Wanderers, and would urge you to return the form to the address on the form or email a signed copy to [email protected] This document is intended to outline our plans, and gauge the level of support for the scheme. Full details will be issued once we have received approval from HMRC, which should be in approximately eight weeks. If the proposed sale of the Club were to be approved by Trust Legacy members, any monies paid under this Community Share Scheme would be refunded in full. Please address any queries you have on the scheme to [email protected] Click here to go to the news item from where you can download the Community Share Scheme document. Season Tickets Season tickets for next season are now available. It would greatly help the Club's cash flow position if you could renew at your earliest opportunity
Where is the link Guy? OK I've found it and incorporated it in your post. Suggest you scroll down to the Chairman's Special Message first.
Anymore news on this? Did I hear 2 other parties have made offers? Will it all depend on us staying in the league? I think in general I'm for it but we aren't doing to bad as a trust so it must be safe, secure and beneficial.
