But they will be able to spend over a hundred pounds going down to Wembley? City fans never cease to amaze me. No wonder we don't get good crowds.
Agree with ORIGINALMINORITY ... edited 20 quid to watch City play at home in the FA cup final in a game we have a decent chance of winning and then getting to our only 2nd ever FA CUP semi final is a bloody bargain....under 16s a measly fiver.. Shame on Any supporter living in Hull or Hull area who can't be bothered to go unless there's a good reason. Ffs we might get Sheffield United or Charlton in the s/f and maybe....just maybe get to the fa cup final.. Brilliant.
Will be a sell out anyway, perhaps a bit unfair, but will not stop people going. Its the rule of supply and demand which happens whatever the circumstances. No real way of avoiding it unless you choose not to pay. I would pay if I was over there, just my own opinion. As I'm not I will settle for our usual Dublin hostelry with my fellow tiger mates. If we get through, then it will cost me the flight etc, will be well worth it.
I agree that £20 is a reasonable price for a FA Cup quarter final against a Premier League team. But I just think it would of be nice if we could of done a deal on ticket prices with Sunderland to make sure the stadium is sold out and rocking. I can see there being less then 20,000 there unfortunately
It is embarrassing to think it won't sell out. Years ago prices would have gone up for a cup quarter final and still sold out, like they did with Stoke.
City v stoke We may have lost 2-3 but what a brilliant day that was stood on bunkers with my dad and both sets of fans mixed in. 40,000+
Its unfair of any poster to imply that £20 is nothing and make people ashamed if they do not go. I will go but as I go with my husband that is £40 from our monthly budget, something that we have not planned on paying out. There will be other though who just CANNOT afford it and I would never have a go at them for that.
If only we had 20,000 fans as opposed to half of our fans being fans of the PL rather than City. And of course we have fans so clueless and with such a lack of knowledge of football matters they are surprised we are charging our fans the same as Sunderland ones.
FA cup quarter finals just don't come along very often for Hull and for me £20 is a steal. I wish I was still living in the UK.
Well we won't be there (we were last night tho) as months ago we booked London for the weekend to go see City at West Ham and make a weekend of it!! we are meeting our family on the Sunday for dinner so will watch it on the TV. What a git, we could have got Charlton away!
I don't particularly take notice of pricing rules in a cup game, i buy tickets for city and that’s it, will consult the super fan 101 booklet shortly though It's a good job I was at the game last night or you'd relegate me even further I should also add I just simply don't know how many exact steps it is up to the concourse at the kc, surely real fans know?
Not having a go but will you manage to find considerably more for a semi final and hopefully a final? I have a feeling a lot will. I am older and in the fortunate position of no longer having a mortgage and appreciate that times are tight for a lot but anyway you look at it the crowd was pathetic in a city of this size.
The rules for cup games have been the same for years. Most people are aware of them I take it you are of tender years?
You lot are never happy on here. £20 is nothing for a first FA Cup quarter final in over 40 years and a chance for a Historical Semi Final. Get a grip save a few quid a week and support the team. The most ungrateful moaning arseholes are on here and probably not even proper supporters just plastics who have supported since we got in the championship!!!
