roofrack Your a nuisance. If you can't start saying clever things then don't post. I can't understand half you write, actually you might have written something clever in that case, however the half I can read is total bo----ll------cks
Fair enough Valley, I still don't see it happening though, we all knew the fixture list would be tough, with the extra mid week games, so find it hard to justify the extra points we should be looking at getting, with the added stress of Europe. Teams stronger than us have struggled, so we were always going to find it tough. As for Phil, no surprises he didn't respond to my post
Please SIR! I would just like to point out that, that nasty terrorboy called me a cretin, he's a bully Sir??........................
Let me enlighten you! This is a results driven business? Now 8 wins over 39 games is statistically not good. Giving Laudrup the benefit of the doubt last season was one thing, but allowing him to have a complete season of failure this season is another, so it follows just as 1+1 = 2, so he gets the proverbial boot!............. Hope you can follow that swanselona...............
So why are you not calling for Monks head 1 win in 5 = 20% success rate 8 wins in 39 = 20% success rate #MONKOUT lol And if that is premier league games, then its 9 wins, as we have 6 this season, from 24, so that needs to look at 15 games from last season right, which in that frame we beat Wigan , Newcastle and QPR. So where are these stats of yours coming from Phil, because they are really not accurate Which would be 9 in 39 = 23% Or if we look at his last 39 games in charge in all competitions, it comes in with 12 wins in 39 appearances. Which is 31% win rate. So yes, these stats of yours are bloody awful Phillip Please enlighten us of which 39 games you refer too, or are your stats as good as your opinion on Ml, flawed
Did you also know Phillip, that if we fail to beat Palace, then Monk will have the same success rate in the Premie League that Laudrup has this season, which is 25%, not bad aye. Will you be calling for his head if the unthinkable happens and we fail to beat Palace? As if ML was relegation form, then surely so would Monks tenure. Or will you be a hypocrite and say its all ok under monk because the performances are better lol. If anything Monks would actually be worse considering the teams we would have played, as Cardiff, Stoke and Palace are all bottom half teams So 75% of Monks games will have been against bottom half opposition, compared to ML's who of his 24 games, only 10 were agianst bottom half teams, that is right Phillip, only 42% of ML's games were against bottom half teams this season, a staggering 58% of our games were against top half teams. They are stats you can take the bank, and even feel free to check it out yourself. I honestly hope we beat Palace, but a small part of me cannot wait to see what the likes of you and Dai do if we were to fail to win that game.
It was his style of football that would have taken us down, His win rate was so pathetic that any other club would have kicked his arse out of the club long ago, The atmosphere at the liberty was at an all time low, the players were fed up and fans were leaving well before the match ended.....If you want to watch that rubbish then pop up the road and watch cardiff as the rest of us are glad to see good football again and see the atmosphere back, and you wont see a single fan leave early either......That is football we are about not the rubbish laudrup served up..
You fail to acknowledge the point I made. When the team plays as poorly during one season as it did when it apparently had nothing to play for the season before then that is very relevant indeed, as much as you might wish to glibly dismiss it. Like it or not, problems within a team or coaching structure don't magically disappear over the summer break, and poor form in one season can quite easily transfer into the next if the root cause of the problems isn't dealt with. The players themselves are obviously, visibly happier now he's gone, with some of them admitting as much via the media. Yet still there are plenty who think that it didn't need to happen, and that he was doing an ace job. Weird.
Are you lot still squabbling about whether Laudrup should have gone??? Here's some stats... Laudrup will not be our manager for 100% of the games to come. Monk has been in charge for 100% of our last four games. Huw Jenkins has sacked 100% of the Michael Laudrups in charge of the club. Squabbling over statistics that neither prove or disprove whether Laudrup would have achieved what Monk has or will achieve is 100% getting on my tits. As for this thread. **** all has been proved because nobody has a portal to the parallel universe where Laudrup stayed in charge. If **** could be proved with football, maybe Isaac Newton would have played!
My name's Dai Junior. I'll try my best to replicate Dai's logic: -It was his style of football that would have taken us down, NOT TRUE -His win rate was so pathetic that any other club would have kicked his arse out of the club long ago, FALSE -The atmosphere at the liberty was at an all time low, LIES -the players were fed upINCORRECT -If you want to watch that rubbish then pop up the road and watch cardiff as the rest of us are glad to see good football again1 win in 5, terrible, to be 1 in 6 after this match on thursday All of this is FACT
1 error though Bobby...you didn't manage to **** up the colour scheme while you were at it...I know, nitpicking, but just feel that it is the small details like this that give Dai's posts that little lift and ultimately make them out of the ordinary. Hope this helps
Sorry bobby , if you thought Europe sat up when we beat Valencia in their own back yard earlier in the season, they 'll be standing in disbelief after Thursday . Were a hungry team right now , more importantly were also healthier. When Swansea are doin their thing it don't matter where or who we play , it's about us not them .
Having scholarly reviewed this statement, I can also confirm it is 100% correct!.....................
ML on his way to Monaco ? http://www.footballdirectnews.com/e...nsea-boss-in-line-for-monaco.php#.UwzENOOSy6Q
My tuppence worth: Under Monk (so far) we look like we might actually get a result. Under ML recently we looked on a hiding to nothing. Stats or no I couldn't give a crap, but under Monk (again so far) the performances are certainly better. Better performances will lead to more points in the long run. The Liverpool game was fantastic end to end stuff. The result wasn't great but the football was and on another day we could have got something. Of course it could all blow up in Monk's face but here's hoping that we continue in the same vein and get the required results for the remainder. p.s. I'm a fan of Laudrup but if it had to be anyone to replace the great Dane then at least it's someone who wears Swansea on his sleeve. Come on you Jack bastards!
