I seen some money come in for mossey joe in the foxhunter, cut from 12s to 6s.does this imply that the owner who splashed about 160k on an 11 year old is targeting this race and blanking the grand national.do you think the value us gone now or will he go off shorter on the day
Bog Warrior a favourite of mine... Down to run on Saturday at Gowran Park . I see it has an entry in the Gold Cup. Anyone heard anything how Bog is getting in after suffering bad injury in the World Hurdle .. ??Not been seen since Gazman
First snippet I've seen in the media regarding the weather and going conditions. Simon Claisse doesn't seem worried (in fact, he's probably got the hoses out just in case ) http://www.theguardian.com/sport/2014/feb/10/flood-warnings-no-concerns-cheltenham-festival
Hopefully plenty of drier weather in the run up to the festival. Sounds like it dries well so fingers crossed that the week leading up to and during the festival stays dry
Fingers crossed indeed - I'm hoping for some nice spring sunshine. Last year was a funny festival weatherwise. Who can forget frost covers being deployed for the start of the festival with it being touch and go! And of course the Friday was awful weather where it rained and come gold cup time it was very soft ground.
Very disappointing news but I suppose getting him back to full fitness is the number one priority. Sire De Grugy has been the outstanding 2m chaser this season though and would be a worth winner of the Queen Mother Champion Chase.
Willie Mullins looks like having 4 runners in the Champion Bumper: Black Hercules Killultagh Vic Shaneshill Westhorpe http://www.attheraces.com/article.a...val trip&ref=PA Racing Feed&nav=&sub=&day=Mon
Looks like the ground for the opening day is going to have good in its description. Who knows we may even get good with good to soft in places. The form shown to date for most of this season is going to be questionable as the ground is looking to be very different. Expect to see some surprise results at this years festival. A lot of these horses are gonna find it very different!

of course they will be --steroids only stay detectable for a short while--the effects last much longer--hence their popularity-cough cough...
