Glen Johnson straight back in the side as soon as he's fit... unbelievable. I make the point because although our defence is shocking anyway at least there's more of a sense of responsibility for the rest of the team to make up for the difference when Cissokho's playing. With Johnson maybe that goes away, he's a bad influence on the side.
I can't count how many times in the last ten minutes Swansea have been able to run straight at our back four.
In 30 minutes he has been infinitely better than Cissokho over the past couple of months. Johnson isn't fantastic but I would prefer him in the side any day of the week to that piece of ****.
Think we pretty much all said at the time, when we have the ball and are dominating against teams, having Gerrard as that DM is fine as he can keep control of the ball etc. However when teams are running at us and taking the game to us with pace and closing us down he is still not good enough in that role at the moment because he's played 15 yeas as an attacking midfielder.
we have no midfield at all. Coutinho has not put a challenge in yet and Gerrard is nowhere to be seen. Add Suarez giving the ball away on a regular basis and Johnson doing the same and we are ideally set up to be hit on the break, which is what they are doing.
