Thanks mate. First game is against Brazil which is going to tough, but they're the hosting country. Fully expect to be done in by bad/no calls and fabulous footballers.

But at the end of the day, it's good times just to be there.

Olic or Edwardo. Olic has been doing really well and is consistent. But with Nikicas current form I have know idea what Kovac (the coach) will do. The biggest problem is that we're playing Brazil in our first game. We could play with a false 9 and just rely on the counter, which we do well. The problem is that on ALL the National teams players these days don't play together consistently. The only way Nikica gets the start if Kovac decides to play 2 up front and take it too Brazil. Two things are certain, should be a great world cup and I'll have drank my weight in beer.

 

There is no way Eduardo is ahead of him by benchwarming for Shakhtar, surely?

 

Excellent point, and I think you're right, BUT the coach is the coach and they are two very different strikers. Our problem has been in the past several years would couldn't do what Hull did today. YOU GIVE THE STRIKER A CHANCE TO SCORE. If we could do that Nikica and Mario would destroy teams. Actually Bayern uses Mario in that way and he produces. Really good times right now.
