Well that was ****ing predictable, spineless, passionless, everyone trying to not get injured for the final. If they play like that against citeh we are ****ed. We knew we probably wouldn't have got anything today,i don't mind losing but to loose in that way gets my back up.
There's no excuse for throwing a league match when we're in a relegation battle. No matter how unlikely a win would be. 1500 fans went down today only to have to come back again in 8 days. How dare they cheat those fans. Fuming me.
Well returned home after what turned out to be a total failure to give me any confidence about next week , ok its a cup game at wembley and the occasion will be everything for some going along ,im no prem manager but i recognise when playing a team like arsenal/man city if you do not compete right from the start and get amongst them you are courting disaster right from the start ,after five mins today you could sense the lack of spirit and that fire you should have against these good teams, the managment for the most part remained unmoved by what was unfolding before our eyes in that first half, the youth team could have done better for effort and fight im sure. Rest assured if this is not addressed and the whole team does not fight and pressure city from the start i fear the same outcome as today , i believe todays game has not only been lost but a burden has been mounted on the managers shoulders because out of that team who has given his all out there today and shown they warrrant a starting place against city. The cup is a huge bonus, but whatever the outcome win or lose gus needs to kick some backsides when the battle for survival resumes after sunday
