I have to say I'm not best pleased with Mick's first eleven selection. Unfortunately I haven't heard much of the match because I'm too busy at work so I'm not sure how the game has gone. I already know how the post match interview is going to go because he's been reading from the same sheet for weeks. Something along the lines of......... "(Insert team) are a good side, let me tell you. You know me, I don't like making excuses but we have the smallest squad and used the least amount of players but I'm happy with what I've got. Nouble and Tabb played really well today without getting the goal that their effort deserved. No, I don't think we missed Didsy today, there's no magic formula to getting results, we just came up against a really good team who played better than us on the day." He's been saying he doesn't make excuses, followed immediately by an excuse in the last few interviews I've seen. In fact he's said it so much lately that I expect him to say it now. Not happy with the selection today. I know most people didn't expect us to win today but I think we could've given ourselves a better chance with a different line up.
MM has done wonders with us since he took over and at the start of the season I said Id be happy with 10th, considering the last few years. We are still very much on track to finish in the top 10. HOWEVER why MM decides to start upfront with two big men today I do now know. Surely Taylor is the obv replacement for McG. MMs defensive workman like tactics are a concern, we need a goal scoring midfielder in the Matty Holland mold! Today we were outclassed by a very god team. Also before people start saying Marriott is the answer, he is NOT. He may well end up being a great player for us, I hope he does. Yes he is doing very well in the confernece but he went on loan to a L1 team and could not get of the bench so why do people think he will rip the championship apart?Lets be patient with him and hopefully he will be a great goalscorer for us!
Not often I disagree with you SD but I do this time mate! Oh I forgot that we have a huge squad of proven strikers to choose from don't we! If you want to blame anyone, blame that Cnut Evans for not giving any money for some decent transfers!

Ok Warky, here goes!! We were stuffing a poor Derby team at half time and ever since then they have gone on superb run, what has changed? Did they splash loads on new players? Nooooooooo they didnt, so what has changed? They have proved you dont have to spend a fortune, we both know what has changed at Derby and a similar thing needs to happen!! We have a very dull, slow but hard working team that are managed by a very defensive thinking manager, its got nowt to do with ME, he never signed the likes of Nouble, Green and Tabb, these were down to MM. We need pace, flair, imagination etc and this is something that MM will never bring.
Oh and another thing, our right side is a disaster, most teams are very strong down the right, today we had a CB playing RB and a DCM playing RM, why when we have a natural RB and RM?
I've been out. I rarely miss a home game though. So, 3-0 to top of the table Leicester who were unbeaten in 12 (now 13) games. Plus our top scorer is crook. Hardly unexpected. Not the end of the world. Onwards and upwards.
Oh yes and another thing, rumour has it we are trying to sign Tunny again, just what we need, another defensive midfielder, surely nobody can honestly back this! Warky aside of course!
What is it you disagree with mate? Is that the starting eleven you would've picked? I've listened to all of his interviews lately and they do all sound the same, obviously enough to stick out.

Warky, this is your problem, you just spout off without taking it all in. I said we played a better team and hence would lose, that is not the problem, its the bigger picture, team slelection/tactics/signings etc etc, very poor and very worrying!!
