What makes me a plastic? Because I now live thousands of miles away? You really are an idiot if you think that.

Despite all the doom and gloom this made me laugh.

Sooner we are back in blue the better.

Those gobbing off slagging fellow fans off on either side of the argument are as bad as each other.

Just get on with supporting the team. We will be back in blue in the future. Keep up with the wearing of blue , singing songs etc but if someone isnt bothered what colour we wear then thats their choice.

Agree - but by far the most of the slagging off is one way traffic. I haven't noticed many (if any) on here having a go at those who prefer to wear blue.

The last paragraph is very true. I'm sure we will be back in blue some day, but pushing it down the throats of fellow supporters isn't helping the club.

I'm not interested in Tan or his henchmen one little bit, but at the moment he's here and so are we.

Around 90% of fans are just getting on with it.

Im sure virtually all of us would prefer to play in blue.

Theres a vocal minority on both sides of the red/blue argument who are as bad as each other.

Yes John, loans by VT and/or his business interests to the club. The money doesn't appear by magic.

As for "all pubs in Cardiff". I go to the Cornwall before games. A lot of people in blue, some in red, no big deal either way. The talk is about the forthcoming game, what team we will put out, how we will do and how those teams around us will get on. No fervent blue v. red stuff.

Then you say "someone else will come along". There aren't a lot of people out there with the sort of money VT has and few if any in south Wales. Terry Matthews being the one exception but football is not his thing. If we manage to stay up then there could be more interest from the far/middle east but for us that would be the same sort of gamble as VT and who knows where that would lead us?

Ever heard the phrase "better the devil you know"?

Then, "shafting us"? So saving us from administration and worse, putting huge amounts of money into the club thus enabling us to get to the Prem and then making further large sums available to try to keep us there - albeit that money was poorly managed, Malky, Moody and Simon Lim taking the blame for that. If that is shafting us then I'd hate to see what someone with real ill intent would do.

John - I would happily see us return to blue and I want us to stay in the Prem. However, regardless of anything you say we need VT with us to achieve that in the absence of anyone else of similar means.

Surely, our aim now must be to get behind the team and give them every encouragement to give us a chance of staying up. In fighting and continually putting down VT does no one any good apart from massaging the egos of those with other agendas.

John, you and your mates please carry on singing long and loud, home and away, in support of the team. That is where your undoubted energies should be spent.

Just watched that video piece. Not exactly an unbiased report. Just a sensational little news item for French tv. Comments from 3 fans and Annis Abraham - and we all know his agenda. Any positive comments would have been edited out as they didn't fit what the film makers wanted and the cartoon piss take on VT summed it up.

John, your response shows how little you understand or probably read of what I have said. And just to answer your question as you rarely attempt to answer mine to you. No, that has never been heard for obvious reasons. Most of us would like to go back to blue but as things stand at present there is no point in battering your head against a brick wall.

I recognise you support the team. Why not channel your energies into that instead of continually stirring up the red/blue nonsense? It is divisive and no good for the club when we all need to be pulling together.

Sparks - time to call a halt to this thread also as there is little point in trying to use reason when arguing against sentiment and a lack of knowledge of the real world.

I have read a lot of John's posts and I am of the opinion that he is not a Cardiff fan and just another wum who gets off on stirring the proverbial.

    This is ridiculous.

John, why the aggression mate? Can't you allow others to share separate opinions from your own?
I think you are a little more intelligent than you let on- and I think you enjoy winding people up on here.
It's not something I would enjoy, and each to their own - but as an avid reader of the forum, it does make it frustrating to see the infighting between the fans on here.

I don't think there is one Cardiff City FC fan who is happy to see his or her team play in red, or who actually wants to see it happen. I just think that there are two different types of people:

Some people love a reason to kick up a fuss, protest, be loud - and shout and riot. People who enjoy expressing themselves and making themselves heard. On the extreme end of the scale, maybe the kind of people who might have joined in with those disgusting riots a couple of years back. I have nothing against this type of people, each to their own. The other group of people are perhaps more intelligent and balanced. They know that Tan won't be around forever, maybe they still wear blue to the games, maybe not. But they understand that it is, unfortunately, out of our hands and that constantly infighting with other Cardiff fans will do more harm, than good to the club we all supposedly love.

John, you can't keep winding up certain posters on here by calling them Plastics, or saying that they do not attend the games. Someone who attended hundreds of games in the seventies through to the nineties would actually have seen more games than you- and considering the downward spiral of the club in those years, could probably be considered a better and more dedicated fan of the club than yourself, think about that for a moment.
Either way, why does it even matter? Who the hell cares?

I myself, am a 22 year old Theoretical Mathematics Doctorate student, and if you think I have the funds, or the time to make it to Cardiff very often, then you must be living in a fairytale world, amigo. That is the way of many people on here, people have commitments, family- and ill family members who take priority over what is, at the end of the day, just a football club.

I love Cardiff as much as any on here, I was there when we beat Cheltenham in the old League 3 and when Earnie made his debut with a brilliant overhead kick, and I was there and on the pitch when we finally achieved promotion to the Premier League- but nothing has disturbed me more than all the infighting on here.

I would even say it is more sickening than anything Tan has done to our club; seeing what has happened to the supporters on here.
Stop winding people up mate, you are better than that, and I know you are a damn sight more intelligent that you let on.
These next games in the run up to the end of the season, require our support and unity more than any other time in the history of the club.

I suggest that everyone, from now on simply ignores any WUM- related infighting comments.
I have nothing against anyone, but I want to be proud of the supporters - aka. the heart- of my club-

Both those who protest against Tan, and those who just want to watch football.

    Come on Cardiff.
