<peacedove>Our away form cannot be compared with our excellent home form.
WE have the following games to be played on the road.
    MARCH
    1. Southampton
    16. Man Utd
    22.Cardiff

    APRIL.
    5 West Ham
    19. Norwich

    MAY.
    3 Crystal Palace.
Southampton. We need to get something otherwise they are going to do us double.

Man Utd. Difficult Game. Moyes would like to prove something
Cardiff: Not an easy game bottom of the table.
West Ham. Big Sam difficult to deal with.
Crystal Palace. Tony . Difficult game.

Norwich. Suarez favourite team. Cannot be taken for granted. How many points you think we are going to get from this?.

its all about bravery, work, positivity. if the players apply themselves to press hard and fight especially the "lesser sides" then we can take points. but we can't just turn up and hope our skills are enough cos frankly hard work for a west ham = 11 man defense for a 0-0.

oh and re: andyi.. if we took 9 points or 10 that would be enough. I would say cardiff west ham norwich and palace as all dog fights as they are lower half but we must be beating these sides. thats 12 points and HALF our requirement right there... no excuses.

if we fail i think we will fail here not at home even though we've 3 bloody hard homes games.

I think a lot will depend on who we can get back form injury, if we get Sakho and Enrique back I would fancy us to win most of them games and hopefully West Ham and Palace will be safe from relegation by the time we visit them.

  8. Nine or ten points would leave is needed about twelve points from the six home games to get a CL spot

9 or 10 is based on previous away form, Liverpools defence and the fact that half those teams are fighting for survival.

I went for a realistic total as opposed to what everyone is wishing for!!

I think between 9-12, tbh. I think we'll finish the season strongly so perhaps 11-12. Could be more, could be a lot less. In short, I haven't a farking clue! <laugh>

Our current away form is iffy, and if maintained, would indeed give us about 9-10 points.
However, we've played all the really tough ones already, and though nothing is ever certain in football, I think we can improve the average in the run-in and hopefully get about 11-12 from those fixtures.

Total 79 Points Enough for 4th in the League?.
#Tottenham are breathing down our neck, we're only 3 points better than them.
I think we should be looking for something like 82 points.<ok>

I think 79 is going to be 4-5 points off the top spot. I think 74 is good enough for 4th I THINK

I don't think we will get 16 out of 18 points at home. yes spurs is a chance, but city and chelsea must be draws at best in my mind. say 14 at hom and 10 away = 24 points +53 - 77points....

i predicted 76 month back and its still trakcing per astro's chart.

    its a good list.

It hows 70 points plus and minus one game as a target which is the whole point of the block of 4 thread

anyway in 2005 it was awful and it was evertons sole achievement under moyes and they didn't even get out of pre qualies.

They are all "should win games" no big teams left to play away.

That said, away from home we do tend to slip up... I image we could lose a couple.

    I'll go for 12pt estimate.
