No De Jong. Not even on the bench?

I'm one of the pessimistic ****s on here but for the some reason I think we may win this well.... or possibly lose quite heavily. There will be no draw, mark my words....

A draw is a rarity for us.

I'll be very disappointed if we lose this one.

I've heard that Declan Donnelly (of Ant and Dec fame) is going to be in the crowd.

    ---------------------- Krul --------------------

    Debuchy - Williamson - Coloccini - Haidara

    ------------------ Anita - Tiote ---------------

    Sissoko ----------- Remy --------- Gouffran

    -------------------- De Jong ------------------

Bench: Elliott, Santon, Yanga-Mbiwa, Sammy, Ben Arfa, Cisse

That's the team for me. I think having Colo, Remy and Tiote back will make a big difference but Villa's counter attack game may hold us to a draw.

Having Colo, Remy and Tiote back will make a big difference, but I'd rather see a 4-4-2 formation with Remy and De Jong playing alongside each other.

That would float my boat big time.. I suspect though that HBA will be squeezed into the starting 11.

I don't think there's a great deal of difference tbh. It would be Remy playing off De Jong and roaming a bit in a 4-4-2, plus the wingers woud be ahead of Tiote and Anita when we have the ball so it's practically the same formation. Unless you mean having Remy and De Jong properly alongside each other, but I don't think that suits Remy's game as well.

People didn't think that Ba and Cisse would go well together but they didn't do too badly.

Fcking hell, have you got alzheimers? Neither scored when the other played....and neither did particularly well with assists either.

The latest from NUFC.com on the game.

Sunday sees United seeking an end to a disgraceful run of five successive home defeats (four in the Premier League and one in the FA Cup).

And were the Villans to win, then Alan Pardew would add another unwanted statistic to his roll of dishonour - United's longest losing home in over half a century.

One has to go back to September and October 1953 to find a five match losing run for Newcastle at Gallowgate, when Bolton, West Brom, Spurs, Charlton and Wolves all left with maximum points.

It got even worse for United, with Huddersfield then winning to make it six reverses before the rot was finally stopped when Cardiff were walloped 4-0.

The last player to score for United anywhere was Yohan Cabaye in added time at West Ham - 360 minutes ago.

At SJP meanwhile, it's 370 minutes since Papiss Cisse scored against Stoke on Boxing Day.

Got a bit of a headache myself. And likewise, I don't like the early starts. Bloody TV ruins everything.
