Chesh "He turned down Man Utd for Stoke because he wants first team football"

That worked well then now she's 3rd choice at Stoke ! And I think you missed Johnny bags irony about Stoke keepers Chesh , :emoticon-0114-dull:

Yes m8,Stoke let him stay the rest of the season at Birmingham as part of the deal,He will be very unhappy the way things are and may force through a move at the end of the season.I hope we maybe in a position to be interested, only 22 and could be the countries best soon.

Never been a fan of loans, bit pointless given our place in the table.
If we have an option to buy then that is different.
As kenny seems injured makes sense.

This LA man knows a fair amount about Stoke-on-Trent and the Gordon bank just outside of the Britannia Stadium.

As I recall, boths Messrs Robinson were teenagers when they started playing for Leeds.

    Cairns is 21.

Personally, I think that if he was good enough, he's have been playing before now. I wonder if his card's marked & he's on the way out?

Didn't know Paddy was injured but Stoke have been trying to get him out on loan for a little while, think anyone who showed interest would've got him. I also think he is quite overrated to be honest, better than Kenny but thats not hard.

Yup, it is starting to look like Cairns isn't good enough, only ever seen bits and bobs of pre-season games but he never looked anything special, lets face it he woulda got at least a couple games by now if he was. I've heard good things about the next keeper coming through though so we might have one coming along soon.

IMO Yes Martyn was past his best when he came Leeds, never thought Harvey was that good,Lukic maybe but played his best football after Leeds IMO.

He was needed then but as soon as he wasn't near the first team again, they wanted him to go out on loan again. I dont think this signing is a sign of anything to come, people need to stop being so quick to call Cellino our saviour

Let's get one thing straight. Cellino may not be our saviour, but if he wasn't paying the wages currently we wouldn't be talking about any signings at all, let alone how good they are. Regardless of peoples differing opinions, he's keeping club on life support at the moment while the fl drag things out as long as possible

It still won't stop the speculation of players and other staff not getting paid next week.

He did okay for himself. And he was quite a hit with the ladies - lobbed semon 40 yards... or was that some Brazilian bloke???

On Harvey & Martyn, both were class acts during their time at Leeds. Had he not ducked out & sought a few more £££s, Carson could have gone the same way & been an England regular. Where is he now by the way?

We presume you will want our cast off goalie again. He is no worse than Kasper and probably more loyal. Hth.

Schmeichel could be at Hull now if he wasn't loyal. Don't think our bench would take the strain of Kenny and GTF
