Wednesday brings almost AW flat racing from Lingfield and Kempton whilst Doncaster, Ludlow and Punchestown entertain us with the day's NH racing.

At Doncaster we have a spanking ew bet at 5/1 in Matthew Riley. Strong finisher over slightly shorter trip last time. Prior to that was behind in a much stronger race over a distance shorter than ideal. Faces some stiff opposition but surely this one will finish in the first 3 and has an outstanding chance of winning.

    two for me tomorrow-

14.50 Doncaster- Ronaldinho (no price yet)

Im sure toppy will be on him tomorrow too, but this is a dramatic down grade in the grade two he has been running in. He has been getting left behind in those races but the is surely too good for this lot. The king stable just started to hit form at the right time after thier winter shut down. He was rated 89 on the flat and leaves the impression there is more to come over hurdles for him

    15.25 Doncaster- Fruity O'Rooney- 6/1

Is becoming very well handicapped is 2lbs lower than his last win. Was travelling well for a very long way lto after a break. He will appreciate the ground and the distance and if building on his last performance should go very close

I havent looked at the cards for tomorrow but I remember Fruity O' Rooney running very well first time out which was only a few weeks ago. Looks to retain plenty of ability so must have a squeak tomorrow..

Better than AP carrying a horse who looked never likely to win?

I think Fruity is being aimed at the JLT at Cheltenham once again and would be surprised if he'd be trying to win tomorrow.

135 should see him get in and he's run blinders the past 2 years.

Expect Baltimore Rock is a seriously well handicapped horse judging by his run last time out. Dreadful ride tbh. Up 4lbs but reckon he is a 130 horse at least.

I got three eachway bets and one of them a real risky shot. Put my normal selections on other thread.

    All Donny

    3.05 Krackerjack ew 50/1
    and a EW Double on
3.25 Tranquil Sea and 3.55 Lookout Mountain - both 14/1

There seems to be a sizeable punt going on the Evan Williams horse Hold Court in Baltimore Rock's race at Ludlow. In from 10/1 to as short as 7/2 in places. Not easy to see why, mind.

    Doncaster 15.55
2 points on Matthew Riley at 11/2 (13)
1 point on Potters Cross at 7/2 (4.5)
