The other aspect could be seen as... We put out our best 11 and get beaten by an Everton team that has form for beating our best 11.
They should scrap one of the Champions League places off the Premier League and give it to the FA Cup winners. Where will the values lay then? Maybe all the league clubs should tell the Premier League to get stuffed and refuse to have any further association with them. Devaluing the game for TV, money, greed and glory hunters. Don't forget your roots guys. That's all.
I think Monk learnt his lesson on sun and he wont make the same mistake twice if he does he's a bloody fool ,I think he was looking ahead to thurs game also Liverpools game on sun were we need to get a point at least, But it will be a tough game
Squad size is a massive factor for me in opting for the league whan I voted. As said previously..... big game against napoli and current position in the league it wasn't as much of a shock to me regarding the team selection. I was surprised how well we performed however and only a couple of silly errors cost us. If we had a few more points and did not have napoli on the horizon I would have expected a stronger team. So I can understand the team selection and I would have preferred a stronger team playing but it all comes down to the timing of the game. Where do we go from here? Staying up? Europe? C'mon guys stop being negative and get behind the team.
The liverpool game is what monk should be organizing his team around and that's what he is doing by the look of it, Cup matches are a bonus and should be treated as such when there is a danger of a possible relegation. It would be an entirely different story if it was early in the season or we were safe from relegation but we are not, I would rather us be sensible than foolhardy in our position we are in and put our premiership survival as a priority...Im sure we will field a half decent team anyway but it probably wont be our strongest and we will see plenty of subs.....Thats ok isn't it....
