Can't find the answer on this, so someone merge if already on another thread, but why wasn't Brady even on the bench. He was excellent in his cameo at Southend. And although Figgie's been crap last few games, why wasn't he on bench either? We were v exposed by Bolassie on our left.
Brady is a winger. Other than doubling up with Rosie he would have struggled. I presume Bruce will have known about the physical battle in advance and left him out for the greater good
I thought Brady was on the bench..? Boyd was a brilliant replacement for Meyler, Bruce was spot on with all his subs tonight.
We played a behind closed doors friendly Vs Leeds yesterday - I wonder if Brady featured? We lost 5-2 btw.
Fryatt should have been on way earlier. He's useless once the opposition keep 11 men in their box. Jelavic was dire and Matty should have been on far earlier whilst there was still space for him to play with. It was a clueless substitution. At that stage in the game when the enemy box was packed full of defenders, Koren would have been a better substitution, he's got the ability to smash one in from 25 odd yards which negates the need to hopelessly try to play through a 10 man defence.
How long until we switch to a more attack minded formation? It's brilliant keeping the ball for 70% of the match, but we did bugger all with it. We need Brady and Elmo on the wings with Rosie and Figgy on the overlap for some decent penetration. Again, our shots tally was awful!
After his latest set back before the Brighton game, I have a feeling we won't see much of him if at all before the start of next season.
He's having a scan on an additional groin problem, but Bruce didn't seem to think it was a major problem.
Didnt Brucey say over a month ago it was psychological not physical with Brady. Summats not right with him, i hope he comes back firing on all cyclinders but i doubt it this season.
He did, but he seems to be talking differently now, so maybe he now accepts that there is still something wrong.
I watched Black Pond, a film with 'post court case Chris Langham' in it (maybe even the first time he's been on film since). It was an indie British debut which he was presumably starring in for free. He was excellent in it, like he was excellent in everything else I've seen him in. Philosophically though, it's an interesting question. He served his time, so are we allowed to enjoy watching his performance? Or is it a taboo because of his conviction. I suppose it relates to the fans of a football club who sign King, Hughes etc. Is it ok to celebrate a goal they score?
