That's a bit of a smartarse thing to say.

Last I checked, Bolton is also located in greater Manchester.

"(Messi) is a top player of the world," Pellegrini said.

What an idiot this is just going to fire the United players up for the rest of the season. He's already shown he's an amateur when it comes to mind games after the sp astic one owned him in the league. Could he not have waited until the end of the season to say this?

i think he's fine. not everything revolves round lfc. if he's stoked their fire we have 11 points on them with 12

frankly we would need a hard look at us if they finish above us from here.

we can lose 3 and draw one more than them in 12 games...

thats 8-1-3 for us and 12-0-0 to them.... not to mention gd

Fire them up for what? To scrape into the Europa league ahead of Everton?

Probably isnt going to matter where city finish.

Lets be honest, all citys money isnt a match for the big 4 English clubs and uefa. All have stated they will fight citys dodgy dealings if they are allowed to get away with it.

I expected this while others worried. The clubs will ensure the money clubs lose out. It was always going to happen.

Imagine running a race and one of the competitors was on steds. This is what city are, small dicked, full of ****e, cocky ****s. The other 4 guys in this race have decided the cheats need a kicking it seems.

Unfortunately they are also a very good team, but don't worry we'll soon overtake them.

I'm not at all worried about them overtaking us now.

However if Pellegrini were to stoke a United Renaissance it could cost us 3 points when we travel to Salford.

As tight as race for 4th (and maybe higher) is... points become like sperm:

Every point is sacred. If a point is wasted, Fowler will be quite irate.

I wouldnt worry about your trip to old Trafford. By then moyes is likely to have lost the previous 3 and his job will be at risk.

All that means is united will win so moyes gets another stay of execution.

It wont be pretty, they'll be crosses galore but a win it will be.

no actually... UIR the GOOD news for you is that lfc have a very enviable record this season of ended managers careers.

take a look at how many that either play us then get sacked right after or get sacked right before playing us.

I hope this makes you feel better but the end result is LFC win.

Youve forgot how homesick your players get whenever they travel away.

well... yes... but i kind of write off a game like that and focus on the games v lower half. That game is a game to win the title not a game to finish 4th (#notrophyfor4th)

we'll see. you are right every point is important its just i think there's lots of surprises to come.

In March Old Trafford welcomes Liverpool then Olympiakos then Man City. All 3 are losable (or effectively a loss in the CL depending on the first leg) based on this season's home form.

We might end up cheering you on in the City game though <yikes>

Lord Buckfast of Salfordshire will never admit he made a mistake in anointing Moyes with the poisoned chalice, also Lord Buckie is on the Yoonited board and will fight in Moyes corner, so dry your tears UIR and lap it up.

They won't sack him until summer.

And then it will be by "ahem" mutual consent. Pointless to sack him this point in the season and I think united board has more tact than that.

Roman hasn't succeeded in turning them into a feeder club... yet...

i dunno... utd have no experience of sacking anyone. the glaziers may be mistaking this term for something that happens to quarterbacks for all i know.

however... which teams have done things right

    1. death by 1000 cuts... hodgson at LFC, prob 2 months too long? more? AVB at spurs. the long goodbye for ancelotti for example, mourinho first time round..

    2. at end of season. dalglish... flown to usa for marching orders....

    3. reaction... clarke at west brom. half the managers in the prem

who knows they might hang on until utd are out of CL... then panic and sack him the next day... so QF second leg date?
