The Club is aware that various sources have announced that the R's will play host to Parma in a pre-season friendly in early August. However, we can confirm that no friendly against the Italian Club will be taking place at Loftus Road. As always, we would encourage supporters to note that no QPR news is official until it appears on www.qpr.co.uk, or via our other social networking platforms. Rangers were due to host the Italian side at Loftus Road on August 6 – just seven days before the start of the new season. So far, QPR have arranged friendlies with non-league trio Harrow Borough, Tavistock and Bodmin Town, with the most high-profile being trips to League Two Plymouth Argyle and Crawley. To make matters worse for boss Neil Warnock, any chance of facing a Championship opponent instead has been dashed as their campaign gets underway a week earlier.
