Tbf according to the rules he should have gone. Pathetic as that would have been its still the law. Also its easy to see why Webb didn't give the second pen. From webbs view it looks like suarez dives and with his reputation, plus the fact he had already been fooled by suarez today, meant it wasnt going to happen again. Not saying firat wasnt a pen ntw, just that most other players and small small girls wouldnt have gone down from such contact.
Proud of our second half performance, despite losing. Fabianski made some great saves throughout the game to bag his team a win. Another day, we could have scored another 5. Webb was shocking overall, some went for us, some went against but he got plenty wrong. We still should had opportunities to win regardless of the ref but didn't take them. Fair play Arsenal for getting the lead and holding on.
Is that United horse still braying? He's just bloody clueless so what's the point in replying to him? We were the better side. The ref robbed us. Suarez and Sturridge missed chances. We lost. Oh well on to the next match.
God you really are thick as ****. Anyone who watches football will tell you that 90% of footballers go over for the minimalist of touches, Suarez is no exception. You're hardly one to talk with Janajizz and Young in your starting XI though
Overall, ignoring #webbgate we should have put the game out of site early on. Sturridge had 2 early chances and then another in the 2nd half trying to take the keeper on. Unfortunately it was one of those games, where they're keeper made some good decision and our forwards just weren't firing. Should have had a blatant pen, and then another when the keeper punched Agger in the head. Overall, happy with the general attacking play. Still shaky at the back with not marking men when the first ball is half cleared and Cissokho going walkies for their 2nd meaning Agger had to come out leaving huge gap in middle for Podolski to exploit.
Of course there is. You cannot raise your hands to anyone on the pitch. Its down to how the ref interpretted it. Clearly Webb was laughing because he'd wipe sterling out with a stare. A small ref might have got the red out to ahoq his authority.
We haven't lost since December so he's getting all the frustration built up since then out on this thread
What reputation? The man has been booked less time for diving in his 3 year Liverpool career, than Januzaj has in his splash of games for utd.
Can you find the section in FIFA laws that state touching a referee is a red card and copy and paste here please?
need to get that voodoo off your back. apart from everton and city, is there any other threat to you getting the fa cup? i know don't count your chickens, but you know what i mean, on paper? saying that teams are more of a threat when nothing is expected of them ie us 05 and chelsea (cant remember year lol or care?) but both went on to win the cl.
3 points last week Or A cup win We got the better of the deal. As for today, well ****ing Webb aside, we played well. Should have scored enough to win easily. Just one of those days. Nobody played poorly, Monreal should have been off ( another bottled decision because he booked him) and any other day Sturridge would have had a hat trick. Let's hope he does it next weekend instaed
Raising your hands in a violent manner is a sending off offence.. touching someone with your hand isn't
Wound up because I called you thick as ****? Righteo. I saw a film once where a guy walked around a bar in a pink shirt, deliberately trying to get people to start a fight with him, just because he had nothing better to do...
It's the reputation the press and pundits have built up around Suarez. He is foulled more than most but gets very little protection from refs. Nobody else gets the **** that Suarez gets yet there are people diving and conning refs all the time. But that's ok as long as it's not Louis.
